Claims (11)
- 湿った吸入空気を受け取るための入口と、乾燥した生成ガスを排出するための出口とを有するハウジングを備え、前記ハウジングは、外側側壁と2つ以上の環状壁とを含み、それによって一連の同心環状ハウジング内のチェンバーとを備えるOBOGSのための空気分離ユニットであって、
a. 前記外側側壁と第1環状壁とによって画定され、入口に流体的に連結され、湿った吸入空気を受け入れて、乾燥空気を排出する乾燥剤材料を含む第1環状チェンバーと、
b. 前記第1環状壁と、第2環状壁とによって画定され、第1通路を介して前記第1環状チェンバーに流体結合される、未充填の第2環状チェンバーと、
c. 前記第2環状壁と、第3環状壁によって画定され、第1端部で第2通路を介して前記第2環状チェンバーに、第2端部で前記出口に流体的に結合される第3環状チェンバーと、
を含み、
前記第3環状チェンバーは前記乾燥空気から望ましくない成分を選択的に除去し、前記乾燥生成ガスを排出するために空気分離材料を収納する、ことを特徴とする空気分離ユニット。 - 前記第3環状壁と、中央ポストによって画定され、第1端部で前記第3通路を介して前記第3環状チェンバーに、第2端部で前記出口に流体的に連結される第4環状チェンバーをさらに備え、
前記第4環状チェンバーは、前記乾燥空気から望ましくない成分を選択的に除去し、前記乾燥生成ガスを排出するために空気分離材料を収納する、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の空気分離ユニット。 - 前記第3環状チェンバー内の前記空気分離材料の少なくとも一部が、前記第4環状チェンバー内の前記空気分離材料の少なくとも一部とは異なる、請求項2に記載の空気分離ユニット。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記第2環状チェンバーに流体的に結合された乾燥空気タップをさらに含み、
前記乾燥空気の一部は前記第3環状チェンバーに入る前に前記ハウジングから除去できる、請求項1に記載の空気分離ユニット。 - 前記空気分離材料がゼオライトを含む、請求項1に記載の空気分離ユニット。
- 前記ゼオライトが、窒素ガスを吸着して酸素生成ガスを出力するように選択される、請求項5に記載の空気分離ユニット。
- 前記乾燥剤材料が、多孔質又は非多孔質のアルミナベースの粒状材料を含む、請求項1に記載の空気分離ユニット。
- 前記第1通路は、前記第1環状壁内に画定されたオリフィスを備え、前記オリフィスは、前記乾燥剤材料の直径よりも小さい直径を有する、請求項1に記載の空気分離ユニット。
- OBOGSのための空気分離システムであって
a. 第1及び第2空気分離ユニットと、
ここで、各空気分離ユニットは、湿った吸入空気を受け入れるための入口と乾燥した生成ガスを排出するための出口とを有するハウジングであって、外側側壁と2つ以上の環状壁とを含み、それによりハウジング内に一連の同心の環状チェンバーを画定するハウジングを含み、
i. 第1環状チェンバーが、前記外側側壁と、第1環状壁とによって画定され、前記入口に流体的に連結され、湿った吸入空気を受け入れ、乾燥空気を排出する乾燥剤材料を含み、
ii. 未充填の第2環状チェンバーが、前記第1環状壁と、第2環状壁とによって画定され、第1通路を介して前記第1環状チェンバーに流体連結され、前記ハウジングは、前記乾燥空気の一部がハウジングから除去できるように、前記第2環状チェンバーに流体結合される乾燥空気タップを含み、
iii. 第3環状チェンバーが、第2環状壁と第3環状壁によって画定され、第1端部で第2通路を介して前記第2環状チェンバーに、第2端部で前記出口に液体結合され、前記乾燥空気から望ましくない成分を選択的に除去し、前記乾燥した生成ガスを排出し、
b. 前記湿った吸入空気を受け入れ、前記湿った吸入空気を第1状態にあるときに前記第1空気分離ユニットに、第2状態にあるとき第2空気分離ユニットに選択的に受け入れるための切り替え弁組立体と、
c. 第1端部で前記第1及び第2空気分離ユニットのそれぞれの乾燥空気タップに、さらに第2端部で前記切り替え弁組立体に液体結合されたプレナムと、
含み、
前記プレナムは、選択された前記第1又は第2空気分離ユニットから前記乾燥空気の一部を受け入れ、前記湿った吸入空気を受け入れる前記選択された空気分離ユニットから排出される前記乾燥空気の純度の関数で、前記切り替え弁組立体を選択的に循環させる空気分離ユニット。 - 請求項9に記載の空気分離システムであって、
d. 前記プレナムに動作可能に結合された制御ユニットを更に含み、
前記プレナムは、前記制御ユニットから制御信号を受信すると、前記第1状態と前記第2状態との間で前記切り替え弁組立体を選択的に循環させる、ことを特徴とする空気分離システム。 - 請求項10に記載の空気分離システムであって、
e. 前記第1及び第2空気分離ユニットのそれぞれの前記出口から下流にあり、前記乾燥した生成ガスの純度を測定するための出力ガスセンサを更に含み、
前記制御ユニットは、測定純度が限界値を下回るときに前記制御信号を前記プレナムに送ることを特徴とする空気分離システム。
