(1) 外科用器具システムであって、
中に取り外し可能に格納されたステープルを含む未使用のステープルカートリッジと、
発射行程中に前記未使用のステープルカートリッジから前記ステープルを排出する、近位位置と遠位位置との間で移動可能な発射部材を備える発射ドライブと、
エンドエフェクタであって、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジを受容するように構成された第1の顎部と、
前記ステープルを変形させるように構成されたアンビルを含む第2の顎部と、を含む、エンドエフェクタと、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部中に着座されているかどうかを検出するように構成されたセンサシステムと、
発射ドライブロックアウトであって、
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射部材に係合されており、前記発射部材が前記発射行程を通して移動することを防止するロック構成、及び
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射部材から係合解除されているロック解除構成、において構成可能である、発射ドライブロックアウトと、
前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック構成に付勢するように構成された付勢部材と、
制御装置と、を備え、前記センサシステム及び前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記制御装置と通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部に着座されていることを前記センサシステムが検出した場合に前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック解除構成に配置するように構成されている、外科用器具システム。
(2) 前記発射ドライブロックアウトが、
ロックであって、前記付勢部材が、前記ロックを押して前記発射部材と係合させるように構成されている、ロックと、
前記ロックを押して前記発射部材との係合から外すように構成された電動アクチュエータと、を含む、実施態様1に記載の外科用器具システム。
(3) 前記電動アクチュエータがソレノイドを備える、実施態様2に記載の外科用器具システム。
(4) 前記発射部材が、その中に画定された細長い長手方向のロック開口部を含み、前記ロックが、前記付勢部材によって前記細長い長手方向のロック開口部の中に付勢されている、実施態様2に記載の外科用器具システム。
(5) 前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部のうちの一方が、開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で回転可能な移動可能な顎部を含み、前記発射部材が、閉鎖行程中に前記移動可能な顎部に係合し、前記移動可能な顎部を前記開放位置から前記閉鎖位置に移動させるように構成されており、前記細長い長手方向のスロットは、前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記ロック構成にある場合に、前記発射部材が前記閉鎖行程を通して移動することを可能にするように構成されている、実施態様4に記載の外科用器具システム。
(7) 前記第1の顎部が、開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で前記第2の顎部に対して回転可能であり、前記発射部材が、閉鎖行程中に、前記第1の顎部に係合し、前記第1の顎部を前記開放位置から前記閉鎖位置に移動させるように構成されている、実施態様1に記載の外科用器具システム。
(8) 前記発射ドライブロックアウトは、前記閉鎖行程を通して前記発射部材が移動することを防止しない、実施態様7に記載の外科用器具システム。
(9) 前記発射ドライブが、
前記発射行程を通して前記発射部材を移動させるように構成された電動モータと、
バッテリと、を更に備え、前記制御装置が、前記電動モータ及び前記バッテリと通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されていないことを前記センサシステムが検出した場合に、前記バッテリが前記電動モータに電力を供給して前記発射行程を行うことを防ぐように構成されている、実施態様1に記載の外科用器具システム。
(10) 前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが、前記発射行程中に前記発射部材によって未発射位置と発射位置との間で移動可能なスレッドを含み、前記スレッドが、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジ中の前記未発射位置にあり、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジは、前記発射行程中に前記スレッドが前記発射位置に向かって移動させられると、使用済みのステープルカートリッジになる、実施態様1に記載の外科用器具システム。
(12) 前記電気回路が、第1の電気接点及び第2の電気接点を含み、前記スレッドの前記導電性部分は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されている場合に前記第1の電気接点及び前記第2の電気接点に係合されており、前記スレッドの前記導電性部分は、一旦前記スレッドが前記発射位置に向かって移動すると、前記第1の電気接点及び前記第2の電気接点のうちの少なくとも1つと係合されず、前記電気回路を再開放する、実施態様11に記載の外科用器具システム。
(13) 前記発射ドライブが、
前記発射行程を通して前記発射部材を移動させるように構成された電動モータと、
バッテリと、を更に含み、前記制御装置が、前記電動モータ及び前記バッテリと通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記電気回路が再開放されていることを前記センサシステムが検出した後に、前記バッテリが前記電動モータに電力を供給して前記発射行程を完了することを可能にするように構成されている、実施態様12に記載の外科用器具システム。
(14) 前記発射部材が、切断部分を含み、前記切断部分が、前記発射行程中に前記スレッドの前記導電性部分を離断し、前記電気回路を再開放するように構成されている、実施態様11に記載の外科用器具システム。
(15) 前記発射ドライブが、
前記発射行程を通して前記発射部材を移動させるように構成された電動モータと、
バッテリと、を更に備え、前記制御装置が、前記電動モータ及び前記バッテリと通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記電気回路が再開放されていることを前記センサシステムが検出した後に、前記バッテリが前記電動モータに電力を供給して前記発射行程を完了することを可能にするように構成されている、実施態様14に記載の外科用器具システム。
前記閉鎖行程及び前記発射行程を通して前記発射部材を移動させるように構成された電動モータと、
バッテリと、を更に備え、前記制御装置が、前記電動モータ及び前記バッテリと通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されていない場合に、前記バッテリが前記電動モータに電力を供給して前記閉鎖行程を行うことを可能にするように構成されている、実施態様11に記載の外科用器具システム。
(17) 外科用器具システムであって、
中に取り外し可能に格納されたステープルを含む未使用のステープルカートリッジであって、そこから前記ステープルのうちの少なくとも1つが排出された後に使用済みのステープルカートリッジになる、未使用のステープルカートリッジと、
患者の組織をステープル留めするために発射行程中に前記未使用のステープルカートリッジから前記ステープルを排出する、近位位置と遠位位置との間で移動可能な発射部材を備える発射ドライブであって、ステープル留めされている前記組織を切開するように構成された切断縁部を含む、発射ドライブと、
エンドエフェクタであって、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジを受容するように構成された第1の顎部、及び
前記ステープルを変形させるように構成されたアンビルを含む第2の顎部を含む、エンドエフェクタと、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されているかどうか及び前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記使用済みのステープルカートリッジになったかどうかを検出するように構成されたセンサシステムと、
発射ドライブロックアウトであって、
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射部材に係合されており、前記発射部材が前記発射行程を通して移動することを防止するロック構成、及び
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射部材から係合解除されているロック解除構成、において構成可能である、発射ドライブロックアウトと、
制御装置と、を備え、前記センサシステム及び前記発射ドライブロックアウトが、前記制御装置と通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されていることを前記センサシステムが検出した場合に前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック解除構成に配置するように構成されており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部に着座されていない場合に前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック構成に配置するように構成されている、外科用器具システム。
(18) 外科用器具システムであって、
中に取り外し可能に格納されたステープル、及び発射行程中に中から前記ステープルを排出する、未発射位置から発射位置に移動可能なスレッドを含む未使用のステープルカートリッジと、
前記スレッドを移動するように構成された発射ドライブと、
エンドエフェクタであって、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジを受容するように構成された第1の顎部、及び
前記ステープルを変形させるように構成されたアンビルを含む第2の顎部を含む、エンドエフェクタと、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されているかどうかを検出するように構成されたセンサシステムと、
電子的発射ドライブロックアウトであって、
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射ドライブにロックされており、前記スレッドが前記発射行程を通して移動することを防止するロック構成、及び
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射ドライブからロック解除されているロック解除構成、において構成可能である、電子的発射ドライブロックアウトと、
制御装置と、を備え、前記センサシステム及び前記発射ドライブロックアウトが、前記制御装置と通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されていることを前記センサシステムが検出した場合に前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック解除構成に配置するように構成されており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部に着座されていない場合に前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック構成に配置するように構成されている、外科用器具システム。
Claims (18)
- 外科用器具システムであって、
中に取り外し可能に格納されたステープルを含む未使用のステープルカートリッジと、
発射行程中に前記未使用のステープルカートリッジから前記ステープルを排出する、近位位置と遠位位置との間で移動可能な発射部材を備える発射ドライブと、
エンドエフェクタであって、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジを受容するように構成された第1の顎部と、
前記ステープルを変形させるように構成されたアンビルを含む第2の顎部と、を含む、エンドエフェクタと、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部中に着座されているかどうかを検出するように構成されたセンサシステムと、
発射ドライブロックアウトであって、
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射部材に係合されており、前記発射部材が前記発射行程を通して移動することを防止するロック構成、及び
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射部材から係合解除されているロック解除構成、において構成可能である、発射ドライブロックアウトと、
前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック構成に付勢するように構成された付勢部材と、
制御装置と、を備え、前記センサシステム及び前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記制御装置と通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部に着座されていることを前記センサシステムが検出した場合に前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック解除構成に配置するように構成されている、外科用器具システム。 - 前記発射ドライブロックアウトが、
ロックであって、前記付勢部材が、前記ロックを押して前記発射部材と係合させるように構成されている、ロックと、
前記ロックを押して前記発射部材との係合から外すように構成された電動アクチュエータと、を含む、請求項1に記載の外科用器具システム。 - 前記電動アクチュエータがソレノイドを備える、請求項2に記載の外科用器具システム。
- 前記発射部材が、その中に画定された細長い長手方向のロック開口部を含み、前記ロックが、前記付勢部材によって前記細長い長手方向のロック開口部の中に付勢されている、請求項2に記載の外科用器具システム。
- 前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部のうちの一方が、開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で回転可能な移動可能な顎部を含み、前記発射部材が、閉鎖行程中に前記移動可能な顎部に係合し、前記移動可能な顎部を前記開放位置から前記閉鎖位置に移動させるように構成されており、前記細長い長手方向のスロットは、前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記ロック構成にある場合に、前記発射部材が前記閉鎖行程を通して移動することを可能にするように構成されている、請求項4に記載の外科用器具システム。
- 前記第2の顎部が、開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で前記第1の顎部に対して回転可能であり、前記発射部材が、閉鎖行程中に、前記第2の顎部に係合し、前記第2の顎部を前記開放位置から前記閉鎖位置に移動させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の外科用器具システム。
- 前記第1の顎部が、開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で前記第2の顎部に対して回転可能であり、前記発射部材が、閉鎖行程中に、前記第1の顎部に係合し、前記第1の顎部を前記開放位置から前記閉鎖位置に移動させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の外科用器具システム。
- 前記発射ドライブロックアウトは、前記閉鎖行程を通して前記発射部材が移動することを防止しない、請求項7に記載の外科用器具システム。
- 前記発射ドライブが、
前記発射行程を通して前記発射部材を移動させるように構成された電動モータと、
バッテリと、を更に備え、前記制御装置が、前記電動モータ及び前記バッテリと通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されていないことを前記センサシステムが検出した場合に、前記バッテリが前記電動モータに電力を供給して前記発射行程を行うことを防ぐように構成されている、請求項1に記載の外科用器具システム。 - 前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが、前記発射行程中に前記発射部材によって未発射位置と発射位置との間で移動可能なスレッドを含み、前記スレッドが、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジ中の前記未発射位置にあり、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジは、前記発射行程中に前記スレッドが前記発射位置に向かって移動させられると、使用済みのステープルカートリッジになる、請求項1に記載の外科用器具システム。
- 前記センサシステムは、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されていない場合に開放状態にある電気回路を含み、前記スレッドは、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されると前記電気回路を閉鎖する導電性部分を含み、前記制御装置は、前記電気回路が前記開放状態にあるか前記閉鎖状態にあるかを判定するように構成されている、請求項10に記載の外科用器具システム。
- 前記電気回路が、第1の電気接点及び第2の電気接点を含み、前記スレッドの前記導電性部分は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されている場合に前記第1の電気接点及び前記第2の電気接点に係合されており、前記スレッドの前記導電性部分は、一旦前記スレッドが前記発射位置に向かって移動すると、前記第1の電気接点及び前記第2の電気接点のうちの少なくとも1つと係合されず、前記電気回路を再開放する、請求項11に記載の外科用器具システム。
- 前記発射ドライブが、
前記発射行程を通して前記発射部材を移動させるように構成された電動モータと、
バッテリと、を更に含み、前記制御装置が、前記電動モータ及び前記バッテリと通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記電気回路が再開放されていることを前記センサシステムが検出した後に、前記バッテリが前記電動モータに電力を供給して前記発射行程を完了することを可能にするように構成されている、請求項12に記載の外科用器具システム。 - 前記発射部材が、切断部分を含み、前記切断部分が、前記発射行程中に前記スレッドの前記導電性部分を離断し、前記電気回路を再開放するように構成されている、請求項11に記載の外科用器具システム。
- 前記発射ドライブが、
前記発射行程を通して前記発射部材を移動させるように構成された電動モータと、
バッテリと、を更に備え、前記制御装置が、前記電動モータ及び前記バッテリと通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記電気回路が再開放されていることを前記センサシステムが検出した後に、前記バッテリが前記電動モータに電力を供給して前記発射行程を完了することを可能にするように構成されている、請求項14に記載の外科用器具システム。 - 前記第1の顎部及び前記第2の顎部のうちの一方が、開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で移動可能である移動可能な顎部を備え、前記発射部材が、閉鎖行程中に、前記移動可能な顎部に係合し、前記移動可能な顎部を前記開放位置から前記閉鎖位置に移動させるように構成されており、前記発射ドライブが、
前記閉鎖行程及び前記発射行程を通して前記発射部材を移動させるように構成された電動モータと、
バッテリと、を更に備え、前記制御装置が、前記電動モータ及び前記バッテリと通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されていない場合に、前記バッテリが前記電動モータに電力を供給して前記閉鎖行程を行うことを可能にするように構成されている、請求項11に記載の外科用器具システム。 - 外科用器具システムであって、
中に取り外し可能に格納されたステープルを含む未使用のステープルカートリッジであって、そこから前記ステープルのうちの少なくとも1つが排出された後に使用済みのステープルカートリッジになる、未使用のステープルカートリッジと、
患者の組織をステープル留めするために発射行程中に前記未使用のステープルカートリッジから前記ステープルを排出する、近位位置と遠位位置との間で移動可能な発射部材を備える発射ドライブであって、ステープル留めされている前記組織を切開するように構成された切断縁部を含む、発射ドライブと、
エンドエフェクタであって、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジを受容するように構成された第1の顎部、及び
前記ステープルを変形させるように構成されたアンビルを含む第2の顎部を含む、エンドエフェクタと、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されているかどうか及び前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記使用済みのステープルカートリッジになったかどうかを検出するように構成されたセンサシステムと、
発射ドライブロックアウトであって、
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射部材に係合されており、前記発射部材が前記発射行程を通して移動することを防止するロック構成、及び
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射部材から係合解除されているロック解除構成、において構成可能である、発射ドライブロックアウトと、
制御装置と、を備え、前記センサシステム及び前記発射ドライブロックアウトが、前記制御装置と通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されていることを前記センサシステムが検出した場合に前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック解除構成に配置するように構成されており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部に着座されていない場合に前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック構成に配置するように構成されている、外科用器具システム。 - 外科用器具システムであって、
中に取り外し可能に格納されたステープル、及び発射行程中に中から前記ステープルを排出する、未発射位置から発射位置に移動可能なスレッドを含む未使用のステープルカートリッジと、
前記スレッドを移動するように構成された発射ドライブと、
エンドエフェクタであって、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジを受容するように構成された第1の顎部、及び
前記ステープルを変形させるように構成されたアンビルを含む第2の顎部を含む、エンドエフェクタと、
前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されているかどうかを検出するように構成されたセンサシステムと、
電子的発射ドライブロックアウトであって、
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射ドライブにロックされており、前記スレッドが前記発射行程を通して移動することを防止するロック構成、及び
前記発射ドライブロックアウトが前記発射ドライブからロック解除されているロック解除構成、において構成可能である、電子的発射ドライブロックアウトと、
制御装置と、を備え、前記センサシステム及び前記発射ドライブロックアウトが、前記制御装置と通信しており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部内に着座されていることを前記センサシステムが検出した場合に前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック解除構成に配置するように構成されており、前記制御装置は、前記未使用のステープルカートリッジが前記第1の顎部に着座されていない場合に前記発射ドライブロックアウトを前記ロック構成に配置するように構成されている、外科用器具システム。
