必要がある場合、第2編み部120の前後で第1編み部110のワイヤ10が同一方向に進行すると、長手方向の膨張率と放射状の圧縮率を最大に維持することが容易になるので、第2編み部120のクロスは2回以上の偶数回とすることが好ましい。

- ステントにおいて、
複数のワイヤを山部と谷部に交差させて菱形空間部を有するメッシュ構造をなす円筒形の第1編み部と、
前記第1編み部から長手方向に延び、前記第1編み部から延びるワイヤの進行方向が長手方向に曲げられた円筒形の第2編み部とを含み、
前記第1編み部と前記第2編み部は、長手方向に交互に繰り返される、医療用ステント。 - 前記第2編み部は、ワイヤを縄状に撚り合わせた、請求項1に記載の医療用ステント。
- 前記第2編み部は、前記ワイヤを2回以上の偶数回撚り合わせた、請求項2に記載の医療用ステント。
- 前記第1編み部は、前記第2編み部より長い、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の医療用ステント。
- 前記第1編み部は、前記第2編み部より短い、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の医療用ステント。
