Claims (10)
- アルファ化部分加水分解デンプンの作製方法であって、前記方法が
(a)少なくとも水と、非アルファ化デンプンと、強酸とを混合して、8重量%〜25重量%の含水率を有する湿性デンプン前駆体を作製すること;
(b)前記湿性デンプン前駆体を押出機に供給すること;ならびに
(c)前記湿性デンプンを、150℃(約300°F)〜210℃(約410°F)のダイ温度で、前記押出機においてアルファ化すること及び酸変性すること
を含む方法。 - 前記強酸が−1.7以下のpKaを有する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記強酸が硫酸、硝酸、塩酸、又はそれらの任意の組合せである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記強酸が硫酸である請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記強酸の量が前記非アルファ化デンプンの0.0001重量%〜約0.02重量%である請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記強酸の量が前記非アルファ化デンプンの0.0001重量%〜約0.01重量%である請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、前記アルファ化部分加水分解デンプンの精製工程と中和工程とを含まない請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記アルファ化部分加水分解デンプンを含むスラリーがトリメタリン酸ナトリウムをさらに含む請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記アルファ化部分加水分解デンプンを有しないスラリーと同じレベルで前記アルファ化部分加水分解デンプンを含むスラリーの流動性を維持するのに加える必要がある水の量が、異なる方法に従って調製されるアルファ化部分加水分解デンプンを使用した場合に必要とされる水の量の増分よりも少ない請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- (a)
(i)少なくとも水と、非アルファ化デンプンと、強酸とを混合して、8重量%〜25重量%の含水率を有する湿性デンプン前駆体を形成させること;
(ii)前記湿性デンプン前駆体を押出機に供給すること;ならびに
(iii)前記湿性デンプンを、150℃(約300°F)〜210℃(約410°F)の温度のダイを有する前記押出機においてアルファ化すること及び酸変性すること;
によって糊化度が70%以上であるアルファ化部分加水分解デンプンを形成させること;
(b)前記アルファ化部分加水分解デンプンを、少なくとも水及びスタッコと混合してスラリーを形成させること;
(c)前記スラリーを、第1カバーシートと第2カバーシートの間に配置して、湿性組立体を形成させること;
(d)前記湿性組立体をボードに切断すること;ならびに
(e)前記ボードを乾燥すること
を含むボードの作製方法。
