Claims (14)
- 第1圧潰エッジ領域内に第1エッジを有するとともに、前記第1圧潰エッジ領域内において、前記第1エッジに向かう方向に厚みが減少する複合サンドイッチパネルと、
前記複合サンドイッチパネルの前記第1圧潰エッジ領域に接合されるとともに、前記第1エッジを超えて延びるシールと、
前記複合サンドイッチパネルの前記第1圧潰エッジ領域に重なって回転軸が位置するように、前記複合サンドイッチパネルに連結されたヒンジと、を含み、前記ヒンジは、連続ヒンジである、装置。 - 前記連続ヒンジの長さは、前記第1エッジの長さと等しく、前記ヒンジは、グースネックヒンジである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記複合サンドイッチパネルは、第1面、及び、前記第1面の反対側の第2面を有し、前記第2面は、前記第1圧潰エッジ領域内に凹面を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 前記複合サンドイッチパネルは、前記第1面及び前記第1エッジを覆う化粧板をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記複合サンドイッチパネルは、第2エッジを有する第2圧潰エッジ領域、及び、第3エッジを有する第3圧潰エッジ領域をさらに含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 前記複合サンドイッチパネル、前記シール、及び、前記ヒンジが、扉アセンブリを形成する、請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 前記ヒンジは、航空機の化粧室内のキャビネットに連結される、請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 前記シールの一部が、前記ヒンジと前記複合サンドイッチパネルとの間に挟まれている、請求項1〜7のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 前記第1圧潰エッジ領域内の前記第1エッジは、前記複合サンドイッチパネルの公称厚さの40%〜15%の範囲の第1の厚みを有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 前記複合サンドイッチパネルは、第1複合材外板、第2複合材外板、及び、前記第1複合材外板と前記第2複合材外板との間の中空セルコア材を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 前記第1エッジは、コア材セルが見えないフラットな外観を有する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 複合サンドイッチパネルの第1圧潰エッジ領域にシールを接合し、前記複合サンドイッチパネルの厚みは、前記第1圧潰エッジ領域において、前記複合サンドイッチパネルの第1エッジに向かう方向に減少しており、
前記複合サンドイッチパネルの前記第1圧潰エッジ領域にヒンジを連結する、方法。 - 前記ヒンジをキャビネットに連結することにより、複合扉を形成することをさらに含み、
前記キャビネットは、航空機の化粧室内にある、請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記複合サンドイッチパネルに熱及び圧縮力を付与することにより、第2圧潰エッジ領域及び第3圧潰エッジ領域を形成することと、
前記複合サンドイッチパネルの前記第2圧潰エッジ領域及び前記第3圧潰エッジ領域を形成しつつ、前記複合サンドイッチパネルの第4エッジから揮発性物質を逃がすことと、
前記第1エッジ、前記第2圧潰エッジ領域内の第2エッジ、及び、前記第3圧潰エッジ領域内の第3エッジに、化粧板を取り付けることと、
前記第4エッジにエッジトリムを施すことと、をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
