Abstract
Description
本出願は、2013年3月12日出願の米国特許仮出願第61/777535号の利益を主張するものであり、当該開示は、全体として本明細書に参考として組み込まれている。

該高分子多層フィルムの概ね反対の第2の主表面に熱源を付与しながら、該くぼみを有する該第1の主平面を冷却ロール上を通過させること、ここで該熱源から熱を付与することにより、該高分子多層フィルムの該第1の主表面と該第2の主表面との間に延在する開口部の配列が形成される、及び
該開口部の配列を有する該高分子多層フィルムの少なくとも該第1及び該第2の層を分離し、少なくとも2つの異なる、別々の高分子フィルムを提供すること、を含む、方法である。
1.少なくとも2つの異なる、別々の高分子フィルムを製造する方法であって、該方法は、
ニップの中へ少なくとも2つの高分子層を押出成形し、高分子多層フィルムを提供すること、ここで該ニップは、該高分子多層フィルムの第1の主平面を介してくぼみを付与する構造化された表面を有する第1のロールを含む、
該高分子多層フィルムの概ね反対の第2の主表面に熱源を付与しながら、該くぼみを有する該第1の主平面を冷却ロール上を通過させること、ここで該熱源から熱を付与することにより、該高分子多層フィルムの該第1の主表面と該第2の主表面との間に延在する開口部の配列が形成される、及び、
該開口部の配列を有する該高分子多層フィルムの少なくとも該第1及び該第2の層を分離し、少なくとも2つの異なる、別々の高分子フィルムを提供すること、を含む、方法。
2.前記第1の層は、125マイクロメートル以下(一部の実施形態では、100マイクロメートル以下、75又は更には50マイクロメートル以下、一部の実施形態では、25マイクロメートル〜125マイクロメートル、25マイクロメートル〜100マイクロメートル、又は更には25マイクロメートル〜75マイクロメートルの範囲)の厚さを有する、例示的な実施形態1に記載の方法。
3.第2の層は、125マイクロメートル以下(一部の実施形態では、100マイクロメートル以下、75又は更には50マイクロメートル以下、一部の実施形態では、25マイクロメートル〜125マイクロメートル、25マイクロメートル〜100マイクロメートル、又は更には25マイクロメートル〜75マイクロメートルの範囲)の厚さを有する、例示的な実施形態1又は2のいずれかに記載の方法。
4.前記高分子多層フィルムは、少なくとも30開口部/cm2(一部の実施形態では、少なくとも100開口部/cm2、200開口部/cm2、250開口部/cm2、300開口部/cm2、400開口部/cm2、500開口部/cm2、600開口部/cm2、700開口部/cm2、750開口部/cm2、800開口部/cm2、900開口部/cm2、1000開口部/cm2、2000開口部/cm2、3000開口部/cm2、又は更には最小4000開口部/cm2、一部の実施形態では、30開口部/cm2〜200開口部/cm2、200開口部/cm2〜500開口部/cm2、又は更には500開口部/cm2〜4000開口部/cm2の範囲)を有する、例示的な実施形態1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
穿孔多層高分子フィルムは、以下の手順を用いて調製された。A層、B層、及びC層からなる3層の高分子フィルム(ABC)は、幅25cmの3層のマルチマニホールドダイ(Cloeren Inc.(Orange,TX)製、商品名「CLOEREN」で入手)を供給する3台の押出成形機を用いて調製された。押出プロセスは、ツールロール(236)とスムーススチールバックアップロール(234)からなるニップ内へ垂直下方に行われた。押出プロセスは、図2に概略的に示されるように、A層がツールロール(236)と接触し、C層がバックアップロール(234)と接触するように構成された。A層用のポリマーは、6.35cmの単軸押出機で提供された。B層用のポリマーは、6.35cmの単軸押出機で提供された。C層用のポリマーは、3.2cmの単軸押出機で提供された。3つの押出成形機についての加熱領域の温度が以下の表1に示されている。

Claims (4)
- 少なくとも2つの異なる、別々の高分子フィルムを製造する方法であって、該方法は、
ニップの中へ少なくとも2つの高分子層を押出成形し、高分子多層フィルムを提供すること、ここで該ニップは、該高分子多層フィルムの第1の主平面を介してくぼみを付与する構造化された表面を有する第1のロールを含む、
該高分子多層フィルムの概ね反対の第2の主表面に熱源を付与しながら、該くぼみを有する該第1の主平面を冷却ロール上を通過させること、ここで該熱源から熱を付与することにより、該高分子多層フィルムの該第1の主表面と該第2の主表面との間に延在する開口部の配列が形成される、及び、
該開口部の配列を有する該高分子多層フィルムの少なくとも該第1及び該第2の層を分離し、少なくとも2つの異なる、別々の高分子フィルムを提供すること、を含む、方法。 - 前記第1の層は、125マイクロメートル以下の厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の層は、125マイクロメートル以下の厚さを有する、請求項1又は2のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記高分子多層フィルムが少なくとも30開口部/cm2を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
