Claims (9)
- 光が出射する主面である出射面と、前記出射面と交差する側面であって前記光が入射する入光側面とを有する導光板と、
前記入光側面から入射した前記光を減衰する減衰部と、
前記導光板の前記入光側面に対向して所定の間隔で並列され、前記減衰部に近い側の前記間隔が前記減衰部から遠い側の前記間隔よりも狭い複数の光源と
を備える面状照明装置。 - 前記導光板は、
前記出射面および前記入光側面それぞれと交差する2つの交差側面を有し、
前記減衰部は、
前記2つの交差側面のうち少なくとも一方の前記交差側面、または、当該交差側面の近傍に設けられる、
請求項1に記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記減衰部は、
前記2つの交差側面のうち、少なくとも一方の前記交差側面から突出する突出部である、
請求項2に記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記入光側面とは反対側の側面である反対面の一部から突出する突出部をさらに備え、
前記減衰部は、
前記突出部が設けられる一部の前記反対面以外の前記反対面である、
請求項2に記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記減衰部は、
前記2つの交差側面のうち、少なくとも一方の前記交差側面側の前記出射面に設けられる、
請求項2〜4のいずれか1つに記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記減衰部は、
前記2つの交差側面のうち、一方の前記交差側面または当該交差側面の近傍に設けられる第1減衰部と、他方の前記交差側面または当該交差側面の近傍に設けられ、前記第1減衰部とは前記光の減衰量が異なる第2減衰部とを有し、
前記複数の光源は、
前記第1減衰部に近い側の前記間隔と前記第2減衰部に近い側の前記間隔とが異なる、
請求項2に記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記複数の光源は、
前記光源の配列方向の中央付近において前記間隔が最も広く、
前記中央付近を境界にして、前記第1減衰部側への前記間隔の変化と前記第2減衰部側への前記間隔の変化とが非対称である、請求項6に記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記複数の光源は、
配列方向における両端に設けられる2つの前記光源からそれぞれ対応する前記交差側面までの距離が異なる場合、前記距離が遠い一方の前記光源側の前記間隔を他方の前記光源側の前記間隔よりも狭くする、
請求項2に記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記複数の光源は、
前記減衰部に近いほど前記間隔を狭くする、
請求項1〜8のいずれか1つに記載の面状照明装置。
