- 前記制御器は、前記呼吸サイクルの前記呼吸イベントの開始の前の既定の期間に前記刺激器を稼働させる、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記検出器は、呼吸フローを検出するフロー検出器又は胸部の動きを検出するセンサを有する、請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記刺激器は、スピーカー又は振動ユニットを有する、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 鼻マスク又はフルフェイスマスク、及び前記マスクに加圧されたガスを供給する圧力供給源を有し、前記刺激器は前記圧力供給源を制御する圧力制御器を有する、請求項1乃至7の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記刺激器の周波数は、50Hzから1000Hzの範囲内にある、請求項1乃至8の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記装置は、一酸化窒素の如何なる外部供給源と関連付けられていない、請求項1乃至9の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 音又は振動刺激を制御する方法において、
被験者の呼吸サイクルのタイミングを検出するステップであり、前記呼吸サイクルは吸気イベント及び呼気イベントの交互発生を有する、ステップ、
前記被験者に振動又は音刺激を加えるステップであり、前記振動又は音刺激は、副鼻腔の共鳴周波数に一致する周波数を有する、ステップ、並びに
前記吸気サイクルの前記検出されたタイミング、及び/又は前記呼吸サイクルのイベントに応じて前記刺激を制御するステップ
を有する方法。 - 前記呼吸サイクルの呼吸速度、デューティサイクル及びタイミングを決定するために、前記検出されたタイミングを解釈するステップを有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記呼吸サイクルの前記吸気イベントの開始時に、又は前記呼吸サイクルの前記吸気イベントの予測される開始の前の所定の期間に前記刺激を与えるステップを有する、請求項11又は12に記載の方法。
- コンピュータプログラムがコンピュータ上で実行されるとき、請求項11乃至13の何れか一項に記載の方法を実施するプログラムコード手段を有するコンピュータプログラム。
