Claims (13)
- 患者における閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸と高血圧との同時的な治療のためのガスフロー生成器であって、前記ガスフロー生成器は、
a)最初のフローパラメータのセットに従って、治療ガスのフローを前記患者の気道に提供するステップと、
b)前記患者が、前記最初のフローパラメータのセットに従って提供される前記治療ガスのフローを受け取りながら、安定的な呼吸を達成したと判断するステップと、
c)前記フローパラメータを上昇させるステップと、
d)所定の時間期間が経過したと判断されるまで、上昇させた前記フローパラメータに従って、前記治療ガスのフローを前記患者の気道に提供するステップと、
e)前記フローパラメータのさらなる上昇がなされるべきではないことを示す上昇停止インジケータが、発生した及び/又は存在するかどうかを判断するステップと、
f)前記上昇停止インジケータが発生していない及び/又は存在しないと判断された場合、前記フローパラメータをさらに上昇させるステップと、
g)さらに上昇させた前記フローパラメータに従って、所定の時間、前記治療ガスのフローを前記患者の気道に提供するステップと
を実行するコントローラを有し、
前記上昇停止インジケータは、停止条件を生じさせるような圧力サポートを増加させようとする試みが何度かなされたことを示す、閾値を含む、ガスフロー生成器。 - 前記コントローラはさらに、出口インジケータの発生が判断されるまで、ステップd)、e)及びf)を反復的に実行する、請求項1に記載のガスフロー生成器。
- 前記コントローラはさらに、出口インジケータの発生を判断するステップと、それに応答して、前記最初のフローパラメータのセットに従って前記治療ガスのフローを前記患者の気道に提供ステップと、をさらに実行する、請求項1又は2に記載のガスフロー生成器。
- 前記出口インジケータの発生を判断するステップは、全体的な時間リミットが終了したと判断するステップ、及び/又は、前記停止条件のカウンタが所定のカウントに到達したと判断するステップを有する、請求項2又は3に記載のガスフロー生成器。
- 前記フローパラメータを上昇させるステップは、前記フローパラメータを、第1の所定のインクリメントだけ上昇させるステップを有する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のガスフロー生成器。
- 前記コントローラはさらに、
前記治療ガスのフローを前記患者の気道に提供するときに、停止条件が発生したと判断するステップと、それに応答して、
前記フローパラメータを低下させるステップと、
低下させた前記フローパラメータに従って、前記治療ガスのフローを前記患者の気道に提供するステップと、
を実行する、請求項5に記載のガスフロー生成器。 - 前記フローパラメータを低下させるステップは、前記フローパラメータを、第2の所定のインクリメントだけ低下させるステップを有する、請求項6に記載のガスフロー生成器。
- 前記第2の所定のインクリメントは、第1の所定のインクリメント未満である、請求項7に記載のガスフロー生成器。
- 前記コントローラはさらに、
低下させた前記フローパラメータに従って前記治療ガスのフローを前記患者の気道に提供する間に、前記停止条件が停止したと判断するステップと、それに応答して、
前記フローパラメータを上昇させるステップと、
上昇させた前記フローパラメータに従って、呼吸ガスのフローを前記患者に提供するステップと、
を実行する、請求項6から8のいずれか一項に記載のガスフロー生成器。 - 前記コントローラはさらに、
低下させた前記フローパラメータに従って前記治療ガスのフローを前記患者の気道に提供する間に、前記停止条件が停止していないと判断するステップと、それに応答して、
前記フローパラメータを低下させるステップと、
低下させた前記フローパラメータに従って、呼吸ガスのフローを前記患者に提供するステップと、
を実行する、請求項6から9のいずれか一項に記載のガスフロー生成器。 - 前記ガスフロー生成器は、前記患者の気道に送るための呼吸ガスのフローを生成する圧力生成システムをさらに有し、
前記コントローラは、前記治療ガスのフローを前記患者の気道に提供するために前記圧力生成システムを制御する、
請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のガスフロー生成器。 - 前記ガスフロー生成器は、送達導管の内部に、呼吸ガスのフローを測定するフローセンサをさらに有し、
前記コントローラは、測定された前記呼吸ガスのフローに基づいて、前記患者が安定した呼吸を達成したと判断する、
請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載のガスフロー生成器。 - 請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載のガスフロー生成器を動作させるための命令が符号化された、機械可読メモリ。
