Abstract
Description
本明細書に係る有機発光素子の電荷移動の有無を確認するために、電子輸送層としてAlq、光反射低減層としてAl60N35O5、金属電極としてAlを使用した場合の有機発光素子をモデリングした。モデリングは、第1原理密度関数理論(ab initio density functional theory)計算法により進行させた。

前記仕事関数の定義において、−eは、電荷の電荷量であり、φは、物質表面近傍の真空(vacuum)の静電位(electrostatic potential)を意味する。すなわち、仕事関数は、物質から自由電子を切り離すのに必要な最小限のエネルギーである。
本明細書に係る有機発光素子の電荷移動の有無を確認するために、電子輸送層としてAlq、光反射低減層としてAl58N38O4、金属電極としてAlを使用した場合の有機発光素子をモデリングした。

Claims (13)
- 透明電極と、
前記透明電極に対向して備えられる金属電極と、
前記透明電極と前記金属電極との間に備えられた1層以上の有機物層と、
前記金属電極の前記透明電極を向く面に接して備えられた光反射低減層と
を含み、
前記光反射低減層は、アルミニウム酸窒化物を含むものである
有機発光素子。 - 前記金属電極と前記光反射低減層との仕事関数差は、0eV以上1.4eV以下である、
請求項1に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記光反射低減層の仕事関数は、3.5eV以上4.2eV以下である、
請求項1または2に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記光反射低減層は、AlxOyNzで表されるアルミニウム酸窒化物を含み、
xは、アルミニウムのat%であって55〜65の値を有し、
yは、酸素のat%であって1〜10の値を有し、
zは、窒素のat%であって30〜40の値を有するものである、
請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記金属電極は、Cu、Al、Mo、Ti、Ag、Ni、Mn、Au、Cr、およびCoからなる群より選択される1または2以上の金属を含むものである、
請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記光反射低減層の厚さは、10nm以上100nm以下である、
請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記光反射低減層の前記透明電極を向く面に接して備えられた10nm未満の金属層をさらに含むものである、
請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記金属層は、透明または半透明である、
請求項7に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記光反射低減層の消滅係数(k)は、550nmの波長の光において0.04以上1.3以下である、
請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記光反射低減層の屈折率(n)は、550nmの波長の光において2以上3以下である、
請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記透明電極の表面における光反射度は、550nmの波長の光において20%以下である、
請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。 - 前記透明電極または前記金属電極は、基板上に備えられたものである、
請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子。 - 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光素子を含む
ディスプレイ装置。
