Claims (25)
- 被検者の気管支幹の2または2より多い接続された気道内に、拡張可能なオブジェクトを配置する段階であって、前記拡張可能なオブジェクトの遠位端は、前記気管支幹の第1の気道内に置かれ、且つ前記拡張可能なオブジェクトの近位端は、前記気管支幹の第2の気道内に置かれ、前記第2の気道は、前記第1の気道よりも、前記気管支幹内において、より下位世代の気道である、配置する段階と、
前記2または2より多い接続された気道の壁の少なくとも一部が拡張されるように、前記拡張可能なオブジェクトを、前記2または2より多い接続された気道のうち少なくとも2つの気道内で拡張させる段階と、
ステントの一部が、前記2または2より多い拡張された気道の前記壁の一部に隣接するように、前記ステントを、前記2または2より多い接続された気道のうち前記少なくとも2つの気道内に配置する段階と、を備える、被検者を治療するための方法。 - 前記拡張可能なオブジェクトを、前記2または2より多い接続された気道のうち前記少なくとも2つの気道内で拡張させる段階は、少なくとも1つの開口部が、前記2または2より多い接続された気道の前記壁の少なくとも前記一部に形成されるように、前記拡張可能なオブジェクトを、前記2または2より多い接続された気道のうち前記少なくとも2つの気道内で拡張させる段階を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ステントは、開いた形のステントである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記開いた形のステントは、開いた形の壁を有し、前記開いた形の壁は、連続的な開いた螺旋状表面を有する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記開いた形のステントは、コイルを有する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記コイルは、4ミリメータ(mm)〜10mmの範囲内の直径を有する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記拡張可能なオブジェクトは、拡張バルーンを含む、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。

- 前記ステントを配置した後、前記拡張可能なオブジェクトを縮小させる段階と、
前記拡張可能なオブジェクトを前記2または2より多い接続された気道から除去する段階と、をさらに備える、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記ステントを配置する前に、前記拡張可能なオブジェクトを前記2または2より多い接続された気道から除去する段階をさらに備える、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記拡張可能なオブジェクトを配置する段階と、前記拡張可能なオブジェクトを前記2または2より多い接続された気道のうち前記少なくとも2つの気道内で拡張させる段階の間、前記拡張可能なオブジェクトのいずれの部分も、前記2または2より多い接続された気道のそれぞれの気道壁の外部に伸展しない、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 拡張可能なオブジェクトと、
ステントと、
前記拡張可能なオブジェクトおよび前記ステントを用いて、被検者の気管支幹の1または複数の気道内の気流を改善するための命令と、を備える、システム。 - 前記拡張可能なオブジェクトおよび前記ステントを用いて、前記被検者の前記気管支幹の前記1または複数の気道内の気流を改善するための前記命令は、
前記被検者の前記気管支幹の1または複数の気道内に、前記拡張可能なオブジェクトを配置させることと、
前記1または複数の気道の壁の少なくとも一部が拡張されるように、前記拡張可能なオブジェクトを、前記1または複数の気道のうち少なくとも1つの気道内で拡張させることと、
前記ステントの一部が、前記1または複数の拡張された気道の前記壁の前記一部に隣接するように、前記ステントを前記気道内に配置させることと、を含む、請求項15に記載のシステム。 - 前記ステントは、開いた形のステントである、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 拡張バルーンは、クライオバルーンを含む、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記拡張バルーンは、抗増殖剤を含む、請求項18に記載のシステム。

ステントの一部が、前記少なくとも1つの開口部に隣接するように、前記ステントを、前記2または2より多い気道のうち前記少なくとも2つの気道内に配置する段階と、を備える、被検者を治療するための方法。 - 前記ステントは、開いた形のステントである、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記拡張可能なオブジェクトは、拡張バルーンを含む、請求項20または21に記載の方法。
