Description
Claims (12)
- レイアップ工程において、複合材料の複数の連続するプライを工具上にレイアップして、部品のプリフォームを製造することを含む複合材料の製造方法であって、
前記レイアップ工程の期間中、前記複合材料のそれぞれの前記プライは、少なくとも45℃の閾値温度で加熱され、
前記レイアップ工程において、前記工具から前記プリフォームへの熱伝達、および前記プリフォームの前記工具の反対側の面からの熱伝達によって前記プリフォームを加熱するように、加熱装置は制御され、
前記加熱装置は、
前記レイアップ工程において、前記工具から前記プリフォームへの熱伝達によって、前記プリフォームを加熱するように構成された第1ヒータと、
前記レイアップ工程において、前記プリフォームの前記工具の反対側の面からの熱伝達によって前記プリフォームを加熱するように構成された第2ヒータと、を有し、
前記加熱装置は、
前記レイアップ工程中であって、前記プリフォームの厚さが閾値未満であるか、または前記プライの数が閾値未満である第1加熱段階において、前記プリフォームを加熱するように作動され、
前記第1加熱段階に続き、前記プリフォームの厚さが前記閾値以上であるか、または前記プライの数が前記閾値以上である第2加熱段階において、前記プリフォームを加熱するように作動され、
前記第1加熱段階において、前記第1ヒータおよび前記第2ヒータの一方のみが作動し、
前記第2加熱段階において、少なくとも前記第2ヒータが作動する、複合材料の製造方法。 - 前記複合材料のそれぞれの前記プライは、前記加熱装置によって加熱され、
前記加熱装置は、少なくとも前記レイアップ工程における所定のデバルク期間、それぞれの前記プライの温度が、少なくとも閾値温度になるように作動される、請求項1に記載の複合材料の製造方法。 - 前記加熱装置は、前記レイアップ工程の間、それぞれの前記プライの温度が60℃以下になるように作動される、請求項1または2に記載の複合材料の製造方法。
- 前記レイアップ工程において、前記プリフォームの温度をモニターするステップをさらに有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料の製造方法。
- 前記プリフォームの温度を、パイロメータを用いてモニターする、請求項4に記載の複合材料の製造方法。
- 前記加熱装置は、前記レイアップ工程において、少なくとも前記プリフォームの温度をモニターすることに基づいて制御される、請求項4または5に記載の複合材料の製造方法。
- 前記加熱装置は、前記工具に結合され前記工具を加熱するように構成されたヒータ要素を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料の製造方法。
- 前記加熱装置は、非接触ヒータを有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料の製造方法。
- 前記複合材料の前記プライは、アプリケータヘッドを使用してレイアップされ、
前記アプリケータヘッドは、前記レイアップ工程において、前記非接触ヒータに対して移動する、請求項8に記載の複合材料の製造方法。 - 前記非接触ヒータは、前記レイアップ工程において、前記非接触ヒータに対する前記アプリケータヘッドの接近に基づいて、移動するように制御される、請求項9に記載の複合材料の製造方法。
- 前記非接触ヒータは、前記アプリケータヘッドが前記非接触ヒータの閾値近接内にあるときを判定するように構成された近接センサに結合され、
前記非接触ヒータは、前記近接センサの出力に基づいて移動するように制御される、請求項10に記載の複合材料の製造方法。 - 前記アプリケータヘッドの所定の経路に基づいて、前記非接触ヒータの動きを制御するステップをさらに有する、請求項10または11に記載の複合材料の製造方法。
