Description
環状フランジは、ケーシングの軸線端部を内向きに曲げることで形成される。環状フランジは、ケーシングに対して実質的に直角であってもよい。
材料を切断してなるストリップ幅が、内側ケーシングの環状フランジ間の内側ケーシング幅の約1%〜3%であることで、耐久性を提供することができる。
Claims (26)
- 二本の管を流体密に結合するための管継手であって、
外側管状ケーシング、及び、該外側ケーシングの内側に完全に嵌合する内側管状ケーシングを備える管状ケーシングと、
前記内側管状ケーシング内に配置される管状封止ガスケットと、
該ガスケット周囲で前記ケーシングを締め付けるための手段と、を備え、
前記ケーシングが、
・前記内側ケーシング及び外側ケーシングの間に配置される少なくとも一層の耐火材料と、
・前記管状封止ガスケット及び内側ケーシングの間に配置され、これにより前記外側ケーシング及び管状封止ガスケットを互いに熱的に絶縁する少なくとも一層の断熱材と、を更に備える、管継手。 - 請求項1に記載の管継手であって、前記管状封止ガスケット及び前記内側ケーシングの間に配置される少なくとも二層の断熱材を備える、管継手。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の管継手であって、前記断熱材層は、雲母から形成される、管継手。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記断熱材層の厚さが、約0.3 mm〜約1.0 mmである、管継手。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記内側ケーシング及び外側ケーシングの間に配置される少なくとも二層の耐火材料を備える、管継手。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記耐火材料層が、無機材料から形成される、管継手。
- 請求項6に記載の管継手であって、前記無機材料が少なくともシリカを含む、管継手。
- 請求項7に記載の管継手であって、前記耐火材料がシリカの繊維織物から形成される、管継手。
- 請求項6〜8のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記耐火材料層が、バーミキュライトを含浸させてなる、管継手。
- 請求項6〜9のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記耐火材料層が、ポリウレタンにより被膜される、管継手。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、遮炎材料層の厚さが、約0.5mm〜約1.5mmである、管継手。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記内側及び外側ケーシングがそれぞれ、各軸線端部から半径方向内向きに突出する一対の環状フランジを有し、前記内側ケーシングの環状フランジが、前記外側ケーシングの環状フランジの軸線上に内側方向に配置される、管継手。
- 請求項12に記載の管継手であって、前記耐火材料層が、前記外側ケーシングの幅よりも大きい幅を有する可撓性材料を切断してなる既製ストリップであり、前記可撓性材料がスカートを形成するよう各環状フランジにて半径方向内向きに伸張する、管継手。
- 請求項13に記載の管継手であって、前記スカートが、少なくとも、結合された管の外側表面まで伸張するよう形成される、管継手。
- 請求項14に記載の管継手であって、前記スカートが、少なくとも、結合された管の外側表面に沿って、ケーシングから長手方向に伸張するよう更に形成される、管継手。
- 請求項12〜15のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記断熱材層が、前記内側ケーシングの環状フランジ間の前記内側ケーシングの幅と実質的に等しい幅を有する可撓性材料の既製ストリップである、管継手。
- 請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記断熱材層が、前記継手を締め付けたときに前記内側ケーシングが前記断熱材層上を摺動するように構成される、管継手。
- 請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記耐火材料層が、前記継手を締め付けたときに前記外側ケーシングが前記耐火材料上を摺動するように構成される、管継手。
- 請求項1〜18のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記耐火材料層が、材料を内側ケーシングの外周に合わせて切断してなる既製ストリップである、管継手。
- 請求項19に記載の管継手であって、前記耐火材料の既製ストリップが、該ストリップの長さに約1%〜約3%の重なり代をもって切断されている、管継手。
- 請求項1〜20のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記断熱材層が、材料を前記ガスケットの外周に合わせて切断してなる既製ストリップである、管継手。
- 請求項21に記載の管継手であって、前記断熱材の既製ストリップが、該ストリップの長さに約1%〜約3%の重なり代をもって切断されている、管継手。
- 請求項1〜22のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記内側ケーシングと外側ケーシングがそれぞれ、長手方向ギャップを有し、前記内側ケーシング及び外側ケーシングのギャップが配列され、該ギャップを交差して伸張する架橋部材を更に備える、管継手。
- 請求項1〜23のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記管を把持する一対のアンカーリングを更に備え、該リングが、対向する軸線端に隣接する前記封止ガスケットのスロットに配置される、管継手。
- 請求項24に記載の管継手であって、各アンカーリングが、重複する複数の弓状セグメントから形成されることで、完全なリングを形成する、管継手。
- 請求項1〜25のいずれか一項に記載の管継手であって、前記締め付け手段が、前記外側ケーシング上に設けられる、管継手。
