Abstract
Description
a)乳化重合を用いてコアをカプセル化して粒子を形成する工程と、
b)粒子の外表面にキトサン塩を付着させる工程と
を含み、ここで有益剤は該方法の工程(a)中にコア中に存在するか、コアとして存在するか、次の工程でコア内に吸着される。
この実施例は、EDACカップリングによるキトサン塩のラテックス粒子への表面付着を実証する。
PSラテックスを遠心分離によって精製し、脱イオン水で3回洗浄し、次いで脱イオン水に分散させて固形分5重量%の分散液を形成した。
0.5mLの脱イオン水中の40mgのEDACを5mLのラテックス分散液(固形分5重量%)に滴下し、次いで室温で3時間撹拌した。ラテックス分散液を遠心分離してPSラテックス粒子を得た。次にPSラテックス粒子を1.0mLの緩衝液(pH7.0)で2回洗浄した後、毎回遠心分離した。次にPSラテックス粒子を1.0mLの脱イオン水で2回洗浄した後、毎回遠心分離した。得られたペレットを固形分2.5重量%の脱イオン水1.0mLに再分散させた。
典型的には、100μLのEDAC活性化PSラテックスと150μLのキトサン複合体溶液(キトサン塩とPSラテックス粒子との重量比:0.6:1)とを混合し、さらに600μLの脱イオン水を加えた。次に、混合物を40℃で24時間撹拌した。その後、変性PSラテックスを遠心分離し、続いて脱イオン水で2回洗浄した。変性粒子を分散させて固形分0.5重量%の分散液を形成した。変性粒子をPS−グラフト−キトサン塩とした。キトサン複合体をグラフトしていないPSラテックス固形分0.5重量%の比較サンプル(PS)を調製した。
25℃でゼータ電位分析器(Zetasizer Nano ZS90、Malvern、USA)によって、変性PS粒子のサイズおよびゼータ電位を測定した。固形分50ppmの水に粒子を分散させ、測定のために分散液のpHを約7に調整した。各試験を3回繰り返した。サイズおよびゼータ電位の平均結果を表3に列挙した。
この実施例は、バージンヘアおよび毛髪先端部に対するポリスチレンラテックス粒子の沈着性能を実証する。
シャンプーのための標準的な方法に従ってシャンプーベースを製剤化した。シャンプーベースは12重量%のラウレス硫酸ナトリウム、1.60重量%のコカミドプロピルベタイン、1重量%の塩化ナトリウムを含み、水により平衡化した。
40℃で30分間連続振盪しながら、SLESの14重量%水溶液に、ヘアピース(hair switch)(長さ5.5cm、重量750mgのバージンヘアまたは長さ5.5cm、重量350mgの毛髪先端部)を浸漬した。その後、これらのヘアピースを水道水で完全にすすぎ、周囲環境で一晩乾燥させた。
Claims (13)
- 有益剤送達粒子であって、
a)有益剤と、
b)前記粒子の外表面にキトサン塩と
を含む有益剤送達粒子であって、
前記キトサン塩はキトサン成分とアミノ酸アニオンとを含み、
i.前記アミノ酸はフェニルアラニンを含み、
ii.前記アミノ酸はチロシンを含まず、
iii.前記アミノ酸がヒスチジンを含まないか、又は前記アミノ酸が全アミノ酸の20%モル以下のヒスチジンを含み、
前記有益剤がフレグランス、プロフレグランス、ヘアコンディショニング剤、ふけ防止剤、保湿剤、皮膚軟化剤、染料、顔料、カラーケア添加剤またはそれらの混合物を含む有益剤送達粒子。 - 前記塩のキトサン成分が、少なくとも10,000、好ましくは70,000〜600,000の粘度平均分子量を有する請求項1に記載の粒子。
- 前記アミノ酸が、グルタミン、グルタミン酸、ヒスチジン、ロイシン、リジン、セリン、トレオニンまたはそれらの混合物を含み、好ましくは前記アミノ酸がヒスチジン、リジンまたはそれらの混合物を含み、さらに好ましくは前記アミノ酸がリジンを含む請求項1または2に記載の粒子。
- 前記アミノ酸が、フェニルアラニンである請求項1または2に記載の粒子。
- 前記有益剤が、フレグランス、プロフレグランス、ヘアコンディショニング剤またはそれらの混合物を含み、好ましくは前記有益剤がフレグランス、プロフレグランスまたはそれらの混合物であり、さらに好ましくは前記有益剤がフレグランスである請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の粒子。
- 前記粒子が、水不溶性非多糖ポリマー、水不溶性無機塩またはそれらの混合物を含む請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の粒子。
- 前記粒子が、ポリスチレン、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリアクリレート、ポリメタクリレート、ポリオレフィン、アミノプラストポリマー、ポリアクリルアミド、アクリレート−アクリルアミド共重合体、メラミン−ホルムアルデヒド縮合物、尿素−ホルムアルデヒド縮合物、ポリウレタン、多糖またはそれらの混合物を含む請求項6に記載の粒子。
- 前記粒子が、0.5〜20μm、好ましくは1〜10μmの平均粒径を有する請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の粒子。
- 前記粒子が、
a)前記有益剤を含むコアと、
b)前記水不溶性非多糖ポリマーを含む内側シェルと、
c)前記粒子の外表面に前記キトサン塩を含む外側シェルと
を含む請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の粒子。 - 前記外側シェルの少なくとも50重量%が前記キトサン塩である請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の粒子。
- a)請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の粒子と、
b)少なくとも1種の界面活性剤と
を含む組成物。 - 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の粒子を含むヘアトリートメント組成物。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の粒子の製造方法であって、前記方法が、
a)乳化重合を用いてコアをカプセル化して粒子を形成することと、
b)前記粒子の前記外表面にキトサン塩を付着させることと
を含み、
前記有益剤が前記方法の工程(a)中に前記コア中に存在するか、前記コアとして存在するか、次の工程で前記コア内に吸着される、粒子の製造方法。
