Claims (13)
- 不透明な被覆物品を製造する方法であって、
a)透明又は不透明な塗布予定物品の面に1つ以上のインクジェットヘッドから少なくとも30wt%の溶剤を含んだコーティング成分を塗布する工程と、
b)少なくとも30秒に亘って前記コーティング成分を乾燥する工程と、
c)前記コーティング成分を硬化して、硬化コーティングを形成する工程と
を具備し、
前記コーティング成分は25℃にて25〜50cpの粘度を有し、
塗布予定物品が透明な物品であるとき、前記工程c)の後、前記物品の他の面に不透明なコーティングが付与される、方法。 - 前記硬化コーティングは、3〜50ミクロン、好ましくは3〜20ミクロン、より好ましくは7〜15ミクロンの範囲の厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング成分は25℃にて7〜12cpの範囲の粘度を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上のインクジェットヘッドと前記塗布予定物品の面との間の距離は、2〜20mmの範囲にある、請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記溶剤は1−メトキシ−2−プロパノールである、請求項1〜4の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング成分は透明且つ無色のハードコート成分である、請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の方法。
- 工程c)は、UVによる前記コーティング成分の硬化を含む、請求項1〜6の何れかに記載の方法。
- 前記塗布予定物品は、アクリル又はポリカーボネートの射出成形品から形成されている、請求項1〜7の何れかに記載の方法。
- 塗布予定物品は、表面及び裏面を有する透明な本体を含み、
前記裏面は不透明なコーティングを含み、
工程a)は、前記物品の前記表面へのコーティング成分の塗布を含む、請求項1〜8の何れかに記載の方法。 - 不透明な被覆物品を製造する装置であって、
透明又は不透明の塗布予定物品を支持するコンベアと、
少なくとも0wt%の溶剤を含み且つ25℃にて7〜12cpの範囲の粘度を有するコーティング成分を収容した1つ以上のインクジェットヘッドと、
前記コーティング成分を硬化し、硬化コーティングを形成する硬化ステーションと
を具備し、
前記1つ以上のインクジェットヘッド及び前記硬化ステーションは、使用時、前記1つ以上のインクジェットヘッドから前記硬化ステーションへの前記物品の移送に少なくとも30秒要するように配置されている、装置。 - 前記1つ以上のインクジェットヘッドと前記硬化ステーションとの間に熱源を更に具備する、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記コーティング成分は透明且つ無色のハードコート成分である、請求項10又は11に記載の装置。
- 請求項1〜9の何れかに記載の方法によって製造された被覆物品。
