フラッパー14は、自転車の前輪のタイヤが載るように両側の側壁部14c,14dと、前後方向両端の枠部14e,14fにて凹部状の仮受け部14bを形成してあり、ホルダー側の枠部14eは、ホルダー側の連結部13dとヒンジ部材13eにて回動自在に連結してある。
フラッパー14の裏面側には、アウターレール11又はインナーレール12の一方又は両方の端部11a,12aに当接する当接部14aを有し、図3に示すようにホルダー13が前方に移動すると、当接部14aがアウターレール,インナーレールの端部11a,12aからそのまま離れ、インナーレール12aの上面に沿って追随する。
ここでフラッパーの当接部14aは、側面視で略三角形状になっていて、フラッパー14が回動する際にレールの端部から離れやすくなっている。
また、フラッパー14の前端には、図4に示すように前輪が当接するタイヤ固定部14gを設けることで、前輪の後側を位置決めでき、自転車の位置決めを容易にすることもできる。
本実施例では、アウターレール11を車両の荷室のフロアに敷設するために、前後一対のバー材からなる脚部15,16をアウターレール11と直交方向で相互に平行に連結固定した例になっているが、アウターレール11が安定してフロアに固定できれば、この構造に限定されない。
脚部15,16は、両端部にフロアへの固定具15a,16aをそれぞれ有する。
