Abstract
Description
連続延伸性は、繊維を連続的に延伸できるか否かを以下の基準に基づき評価した。
○:繊維長が10m以上の繊維を連続延伸できる。
△:繊維長が1m以上の繊維を連続延伸できるが、繊維長10m以下で破断する。
×:繊維長が1m以上の繊維を連続延伸できない(引き取りロールに引き取ることができない)。
繊維光沢は、延伸工程後の繊維に光沢があるかどうかを目視で観察して、以下の基準に基づき評価した。
○:光沢が見られる。
×:光沢が見られない。
繊維の均一性は、延伸工程後の繊維の外観を、繊維の長さ方向における繊維径または繊維形状の変動の観点で目視で観察して、以下の基準に基づき評価した。
○:繊維の長さ方向に繊維径および繊維形状が均一である。
△:繊維の長さ方向に繊維径は均一であるが、繊維形状にムラがある。
×:繊維の長さ方向に繊維径にムラがあり、繊維形状も不均一である。
培養生産にはKNK−005株(米国特許第7384766号明細書を参照)を用いた。
図1に示すように、丸型押出ノズルを備えた溶融押出装置3を用いて、溶融紡糸温度を190℃として、製造例1で得られたPHBHを繊維状に連続的に溶融押出した。押し出された繊維1を、氷水で0℃に保持した冷媒2中で、巻き取りロール4に巻き取って急冷を行い、非晶質繊維を得た。巻き取りロールに巻き取られた非晶質繊維を、当該冷媒中で、0℃で24時間保持し、結晶化を進行させ、結晶化繊維を得た。
延伸工程における荷重を1Nに変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてPHA繊維を得た。
保持工程における保持時間を12時間に変更し、延伸工程における引き取り速度を2m/minに変更した以外は実施例2と同様にしてPHA繊維を得た。
急冷工程及び保持工程における冷媒の温度を−10℃に変更し、保持工程における保持時間を72時間に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてPHA繊維を得た。
急冷工程における冷媒の温度を20℃に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてPHA繊維を得た。
保持工程を行なわなかった以外は実施例1と同様にしてPHA繊維を得た。
保持工程における冷媒の温度を30℃に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてPHA繊維を得た。
保持工程における冷媒の温度を80℃に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてPHA繊維を得た。
延伸工程において、荷重を与えず、引き取り速度を2m/minに変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてPHA繊維を得た。

Claims (6)
- 生分解性繊維の製造方法であって、
ポリヒドロキシアルカノエートを溶融押出してポリヒドロキシアルカノエート繊維を形成する第一工程と、
前記ポリヒドロキシアルカノエート繊維を、当該ポリヒドロキシアルカノエートのガラス転移温度+10℃以下の温度に急冷する第二工程と、
前記ポリヒドロキシアルカノエート繊維を、当該ポリヒドロキシアルカノエートのガラス転移温度+20℃以下の温度で保持する第三工程と、
前記ポリヒドロキシアルカノエート繊維にせん断応力を与えながら、室温環境下で当該繊維を連続的に延伸して、前記生分解性繊維を得る第四工程と、を含む、製造方法。 - 第一工程において、溶融押出を145℃〜200℃で行なう、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 第三工程において保持する時間が6時間〜120時間である、請求項1又は2に記載の製造方法。
- 第四工程において、前記せん断応力を与えるための荷重が0.5N〜5Nの範囲にある、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 第四工程において前記ポリヒドロキシアルカノエート繊維の引き取り速度が0.3m/分〜5m/分である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記ポリヒドロキシアルカノエートがポリ(3−ヒドロキシブチレート−コ−3−ヒドロキシヘキサノエート)である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
