Claims (14)
- ブランケット(20)と、
前記ブランケット(20)内の、電力供給源に結合される個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)の配列(46)であって、前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)が互いに離間され(35)、前記ブランケット(20)を所望の形状に切ることができるように配置される、配列(46)と
を備える加熱装置(18)。 - 前記ブランケット(20)が、第1の可撓性材料層(38)および第2の可撓性材料層(38)を含み、
個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)の前記配列(46)が、前記第1の可撓性材料層(38)と前記第2の可撓性材料層(38)との間に挟まれる、
請求項1に記載の加熱装置(18)。 - 前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)が互いに並列に電気的に結合される、請求項1または2に記載の加熱装置(18)。
- 前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)が互いに直列に電気的に結合される、請求項1、2、または3に記載の加熱装置(18)。
- 前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)の前記配列(46)内の前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)のサイズおよび形状が同じである、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の加熱装置(18)。
- 個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)の前記配列(46)が、N行およびM列を有する2次元配列(46)である、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の加熱装置(18)。
- 個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)の前記配列(46)が1次元配列(62)である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の加熱装置(18)。
- 前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)が、前記配列(46)全体にわたって一定である間隔(D)をおいて離間される(35)、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の加熱装置(18)。
- 加熱装置(18)を製作する方法であって、
電力供給源に結合されるようになされた個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)の配列(46)をその中に有する電気ヒートブランケット(20)を準備するステップと、
前記電気ヒートブランケット(20)を所望の形状(20a)にトリミングするステップであって、前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)のうちの少なくともいくつかを除去するステップを含む、ステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記トリミングするステップに続いて、前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)のうちの少なくともいくつかを切り取って前記電気ヒートブランケット(20)に残っている個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)内の電気的連続性を切断するステップと、
前記トリミングするステップに続いて、前記電気ヒートブランケット(20)に残っている前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)内の前記電気的連続性を復旧するステップと
をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 前記電気的連続性を復旧するステップが、前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)のうちの2つの間にジャンパ線(58)を設置するステップを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記電気的連続性を復旧するステップが、前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)のうちの1つと前記電力供給源との間にジャンパ線(58)を設置するステップを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記電気的連続性を復旧するステップが、
電気リード線(68)を取り囲む前記電気ヒートブランケット(20)の一部(65)を前記電気ヒートブランケット(20)の縁部(84)に沿って除去することにより、前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)のうちの1つの前記電気リード線(68)を露出させるステップと、
前記電気ヒートブランケット(20)の前記縁部(84)上に電気コネクタモジュール(70)を設置するステップ
を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記トリミングするステップが、前記電気ヒートブランケット(20)を前記個別抵抗加熱要素回路(42)相互間の間隔(35)によって画定されたライン(54)に沿って切るステップを含む、請求項9から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
