Abstract
【解決手段】フィットネスモニター10は、ハウジング12と、リストバンド14と、モーションセンサーと、ディスプレイ16と、非一時的な記憶素子と、処理要素とを有する。リストバンドはハウジングに連結され、利用者の手首に装着される。モーションセンサーは利用者の動きを感知して動作データを生成する。ディスプレイはハウジングに連結され、利用者の活動に関連付けられた情報を提示する。記憶素子はハウジング内に配置され、活動データおよび日次活動目標を格納する。処理要素はハウジング内に配置され、且つ記憶素子に動作可能に連結されており、活動データ、利用者の所定の活動レベルに対応する日次活動目標を決定し、活動カウントダウンおよび不活発度レベルを計算し、活動カウントダウンと不活発度レベルを示す不活発度指標をディスプレイに提示する。

Description
前記処理要素26は、第1の期間について低レベルの活動データに対応する不活発度レベルを決定でき、第2の期間についてより高レベルの活動データに対応する活動レベルを決定できる。前記フィットネス装置10は、活動データのレベルが所定の不活発度値に満たない場合(例えば、第1の期間につき25歩)、不活発度を示す指標を提示し、活動データのレベルが所定の不活発度値を満たし若しくは超えた場合(例えば、第1の期間につき25歩)、不活発度を示す任意の指標を除去できる。前記第1の期間および第2の期間は、等しくても(例えば、どちらも15分間)、異なっても(例えば、第1の期間は15分間で、第2の期間は2分間)よい。例えば、前記第2の期間は、前記第1の期間より短時間であってよい。これにより、前記第1の期間についてディスプレイ16に表示された複数の不活発度指標40を除去するため、複数の第2の期間にわたり活動レベルが高まる可能性がある。例えば、15分の間隔にわたり不活発度レベルが決定された結果として、ディスプレイ16に表示された複数の不活発度指標40の1つは、活動レベルが高められた2分期間ごとに順次除去される可能性がある(例えば、利用者が25歩を超えて歩くなど)。諸実施形態において、フィットネス装置10の前記ディスプレイ16は、日次活動目標および複数の不活発度指標を表示することにより、利用者が、望ましい目標および最近の不活発度の指標に関連付けて現在の活動レベルを決定できるようにする。利用者の活動に関連付けて情報を提示すると、健康的なライフスタイルを享受または維持するように、利用者の意欲を高めることができる。
Claims (13)
- フィットネスモニターであって、
時計の盤面を含むハウジングと、
前記時計の盤面に配置され、時刻を示すように構成されたアナログ時計の針と、
前記時計の盤面に提供された第1の連続表示要素と、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、利用者の動きを感知して動作データを生成するように構成されたモーションセンサーと、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、前記動作データを格納するように構成された非一時的な記憶素子と、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、前記記憶素子に動作可能に連結された処理要素であって、
前記動作データに基づいて、前記利用者の1日における現在までの歩数を決定し、
前記決定された前記利用者の1日における現在までの歩数に基づいて、前記第1の連続表示要素を制御して視覚的表示を提供するように構成されているものである、
前記処理要素と
を有するフィットネスモニター。 - 請求項1記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、前記視覚的表示は日次目標に関するステータスを示すものであるフィットネスモニター。
- 請求項2記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、前記処理要素は、前記決定された前記利用者の1日における現在までの歩数に基づいて前記日次目標に関するステータスを算出するように動作可能なものであるフィットネスモニター。
- 請求項1記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、さらに、
前記時計の盤面に提供された第2の連続表示要素を有し、
前記処理要素は、さらに、前記第2の連続表示要素を制御して前記利用者が非活動的であることを示すように動作可能であるフィットネスモニター。 - 請求項1記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、前記第1の連続表示要素は前記時計の盤面において前記アナログ時計の針の背後に提供されるものであるフィットネスモニター。
- 請求項1記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、前記処理要素は、前記決定された前記利用者の1日における現在までの歩数に基づいて、前記第1の連続表示要素の連続表示を増加させるように構成されているものであるフィットネスモニター。
- 請求項1記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、前記第1の連続表示要素は曲線形状を有するものであるフィットネスモニター。
- フィットネスモニターであって、
時計の盤面を含むハウジングと、
前記時計の盤面に配置され、時刻を示すように構成されたアナログ時計の針と、
前記時計の盤面に提供された第1の曲線形状連続表示要素と、
前記時計の盤面に提供された第2の曲線形状連続表示要素と、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、利用者の動きを感知して動作データを生成するように構成されたモーションセンサーと、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、活動データを格納するように構成された非一時的な記憶素子と、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、前記記憶素子に動作可能に連結された処理要素であって、
前記活動データに基づいて、前記利用者の1日における現在までの歩数含む日次活動データを決定し、
前記決定された前記利用者の1日における現在までの歩数に基づいて、前記第1の曲線形状連続表示要素を制御して視覚的表示を提供し、
前記第2の曲線形状連続表示要素を制御して前記利用者が非活動的であることを示すように構成されているものである、
前記処理要素と
を有するフィットネスモニター。 - 請求項8記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、前記処理要素は、さらに、前記第1の曲線形状連続表示要素を制御して日次目標に関するステータスを表示するように動作可能なものであるフィットネスモニター。
- 請求項9記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、前記処理要素は、前記決定された前記利用者の1日における現在までの歩数に基づいて前記日次目標に関するステータスを算出するように動作可能なものであるフィットネスモニター。
- 請求項8記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、前記第1の曲線形状連続表示要素は前記時計の盤面において前記アナログ時計の針の背後に提供されるものであるフィットネスモニター。
- 請求項8記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、前記処理要素は、前記決定された前記利用者の1日における現在までの歩数に基づいて、前記第1の曲線形状連続表示要素の連続表示を増加させるように構成されているものであるフィットネスモニター。
- 請求項8記載のフィットネスモニターにおいて、前記処理要素は、さらに、
前記利用者の非活動度を計算により決定し、前記決定された前記利用者の非活動度に基づいて、前記第2の曲線形状連続表示要素の連続表示を増加させるように構成されているものであるフィットネスモニター。
