Abstract
【解決手段】シール部材7は、内輪2と流体潤滑状態で摺接する複数の突起15が周方向に間隔をおいて設けられたゴム製のシールリップ10を有し、各突起15は、周方向に沿った断面が0.4mm以上、9.0mm未満の半径Rをもつ円弧状となる形状とされている。

内輪と、
前記内輪の径方向外側に同軸に設けられた外輪と、
前記内輪と前記外輪の間に形成される環状空間に周方向に間隔をおいて組み込まれた複数の転動体と、
前記環状空間の端部開口を塞ぐ環状のシール部材とを有するシール付軸受において、
前記シール部材は、前記内輪と前記外輪の両軌道輪のうちの一方の軌道輪と流体潤滑状態で摺接する複数の突起が周方向に間隔をおいて設けられたゴム製のシールリップを有し、
前記各突起は、周方向に沿った断面が0.4mm以上、9.0mm未満の半径をもつ円弧状となる形状とされていることを特徴とするシール付軸受。

一般の接触シール(全周にわたって隙間なく内輪に接触するシールリップをもつシール部材)を用いたシール付軸受。
<比較例2>
一般の非接触シール(全周にわたって内輪に非接触のシール部材)を用いたシール付軸受。
<実施例1>
上記実施形態のシール付軸受1であって、突起15の断面円弧半径Rが1.5mm、突起15の周方向の間隔Pが0.4mm、突起15の高さHが0.04mmのもの。
<実施例2>
上記実施形態のシール付軸受1であって、突起15の断面円弧半径Rが1.0mm、突起15の周方向の間隔Pが1.1mm、突起15の高さHが0.04mmのもの。
<実施例3>
上記実施形態のシール付軸受1であって、突起15の断面円弧半径Rが1.0mm、突起15の周方向の間隔Pが0.5mm、突起15の高さHが0.04mmのもの。

・温度:常温〜120℃
・突起15の高さH:0.05mm

- 内輪(2)と、
前記内輪(2)の径方向外側に同軸に設けられた外輪(3)と、
前記内輪(2)と前記外輪(3)の間に形成される環状空間(4)に周方向に間隔をおいて組み込まれた複数の転動体(5)と、
前記環状空間(4)の端部開口を塞ぐ環状のシール部材(7)とを有するシール付軸受において、
前記シール部材(7)は、前記内輪(2)と前記外輪(3)の両軌道輪のうちの一方の軌道輪(2)と流体潤滑状態で摺接する複数の突起(15)が周方向に間隔をおいて設けられたゴム製のシールリップ(10)を有し、
前記各突起(15)は、周方向に沿った断面が0.4mm以上、9.0mm未満の半径(R)をもつ円弧状となる形状とされていることを特徴とするシール付軸受。 - 前記各突起(15)の周方向の間隔(P)が、0.2mm以上、3.0mm以下とされている請求項1に記載のシール付軸受。
- 前記各突起(15)の高さ(H)が、0.01mm以上、0.10mm未満とされている請求項1または2に記載のシール付軸受。
- 自動車のトランスミッションの回転軸(20,21)を回転可能に支持する転がり軸受として使用される請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のシール付軸受。
