Abstract
Description
Ti(OR)4+4H2O→Ti(OH)4+4ROH(加水分解)
Ti(OH)4→TiO2 .xH2O+(2−x)H2O(凝縮)
このため、前記反応は、酸化チタン(IV)またはチタニアとしても既知である、式TiO2の二酸化チタンの生成をもたらす。かかるTiO2の存在は、より特に、ジアルキルカーボネート及びアリールアルコールから芳香族カーボネートを調製するための上で言及されるプロセスにおいて、それが、ほとんどまたは全く触媒活性を有しないため、不利である。したがって、TiO2の形成、及び、したがって、有価なTi金属の損失を可能な限り防止することが望ましい。さらに、TiO2は、ほとんどの溶媒に可溶性ではない粉末である。したがって、TiO2形成の別の不利点は、この粉末が意図された触媒担体の表面を被覆し、それによって、金属含有化合物を含有する含浸溶液のための触媒担体細孔へのアクセスを遮断し、そのため、触媒担体の内部及び外部表面の比較的小さい部分のみが前記溶液で含浸されるということである。要約すると、水の存在は、その活性が、所望される活性レベルをはるかに下回り得る触媒をもたらし得る。

Claims (14)
- 触媒担体を乾燥させる、または金属が担持される担体を含む触媒を乾燥させるためのプロセスであって、前記担体または触媒が、有機カーボネートを含む乾燥剤と接触させられる、前記プロセス。
- 金属が担持される担体を含む触媒を調製するためのプロセスであって、前記担体を、有機カーボネートを含む乾燥剤と接触させることによって、前記担体を乾燥させ、乾燥させた担体をもたらすことと、前記金属を含有する化合物が有機カーボネートまたはアルコールである溶媒中に溶解されている溶液を、前記乾燥させた担体に含浸させることと、を含む、前記プロセス。
- 乾燥剤として使用される前記有機カーボネートが、式ROC(=O)OR’の化合物であり、式中、R及びR’は、同じまたは異なってもよく、各々、アルキルまたはアリール基、好ましくはジアルキルカーボネートであり、R及びR’は、C1−4アルキル基、より好ましくはジメチルカーボネートまたはジエチルカーボネートである、請求項1または2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記含浸ステップにおいて使用される前記溶媒が、有機カーボネートである、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記有機カーボネートが、式ROC(=O)OR’の化合物であり、式中、R及びR’は、同じまたは異なってもよく、各々、アルキルまたはアリール基、好ましくはジアルキルカーボネートであり、R及びR’は、C1−4アルキル基、より好ましくはジメチルカーボネートまたはジエチルカーボネートである、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記乾燥ステップにおいて使用される前記有機カーボネート及び前記含浸ステップにおいて使用される前記有機カーボネートが、同じである、請求項4〜5のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記含浸ステップにおいて使用される前記金属を含有する前記化合物が、前記金属に加えて、同じまたは異なってもよい1つ以上のリガンドを含有する化合物であり、前記リガンドのうちの1つ以上が、アルコキシ、アリールアルコキシ、アリールオキシ、アルキルアリールオキシ、アルキル、アリールアルキル、アリール、アルキルアリール、ヒドロキシド、カルボキシレート、カーボネート、及びハライド基から成る群から、より好ましくはアルコキシ及びアリールアルコキシ基から成る群から、最も好ましくはアルコキシ基から成る群から選択される、請求項2〜6のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 芳香族カーボネートを調製するためのプロセスであって、請求項2〜7のいずれか1項に記載のプロセスに従って調製された触媒、または請求項1または3に記載のプロセスに従って乾燥させた触媒の存在下で、ジアルキルカーボネートまたはアルキルアリールカーボネートを、アリールアルコールまたはアルキルアリールカーボネートと反応させ、アルキルアリールカーボネートまたはジアリールカーボネートである芳香族カーボネートをもたらすことを含む、前記プロセス。
- 芳香族カーボネートを調製するためのプロセスであって、請求項2〜7のいずれか1項に記載のプロセスに従って触媒を調製すること、または請求項1若しくは3に記載のプロセスに従って触媒を乾燥させることと、このように調製若しくは乾燥された前記触媒の存在下で、ジアルキルカーボネート若しくはアルキルアリールカーボネートを、アリールアルコール若しくはアルキルアリールカーボネートと反応させ、アルキルアリールカーボネートまたはジアリールカーボネートである芳香族カーボネートをもたらすことと、を含む、前記プロセス。
- 前記触媒が、請求項2〜7のいずれか1項に記載のプロセスに従って調製された触媒であり、前記触媒調製プロセスの前記含浸ステップにおいて使用される前記溶媒が、有機カーボネートである、請求項8または9に記載のプロセス。
- 前記触媒調製プロセスの前記乾燥ステップにおいて使用される前記有機カーボネート、及び前記触媒調製プロセスの前記含浸ステップにおいて使用される前記有機カーボネートが、同じであり、前記有機カーボネートが、ジアルキルカーボネート、アルキルアリールカーボネート、またはジアリールカーボネートである、請求項10に記載のプロセス。
- 前記触媒が、請求項1または3に記載のプロセスに従って乾燥された触媒であり、前記乾燥プロセスにおいて使用される前記有機カーボネートが、ジアルキルカーボネート、アルキルアリールカーボネート、またはジアリールカーボネートである、請求項8または9に記載のプロセス。
- ポリカーボネートを作製するためのプロセスであって、ジヒドロキシ芳香族化合物を、請求項8〜12のいずれか1項に記載のプロセスに従って調製されたジアリールカーボネートと反応させることを含む、前記プロセス。
- ポリカーボネートを作製するためのプロセスであって、請求項8〜12のいずれか1項に記載のプロセスに従ってジアリールカーボネートを調製することと、ジヒドロキシ芳香族化合物を、このようにして得られた前記ジアリールカーボネートと反応させることと、を含む、前記プロセス。
