Abstract
Description
二酸化炭素吸収剤の放出特性が、以下のようにして測定された。ナトリウムゼオライト13X(UOP MOLSIV Absorbentsから商業的に入手可能なような)の8×12のビーズが獲得された。ビーズはセラミック製の皿に置かれ、セラムコ社によって製造されたVulcan D550炉の中で熱せられた。ビーズを収容している炉の温度は、約3℃/分の割合で550℃まで上げられて、且つ二酸化炭素で充填されたビーズの加熱及び準備のために550℃で5時間保持された。
充填された13Xゼオライトが実施例1のように準備された。充填されたゼオライトのサンプル30gはそれから、底部に水流入口ポート及び頂部に気体流出口ポートを有する金属チャンバに置かれた。ゼオライトを保持するチャンバは断面で33〜34mmであって、ゼオライト材料を保持するために直径64 1/16”の孔を有する2つの金属フィルタディスクを有していた。水道水がそれから、断面に垂直なチャンバの底部から、平均60ml/分の流量で注がれた。気体は、頂部流出口ポートから放出された。
充填された13Xゼオライトが実施例1のように準備された。充填されたゼオライトのサンプル30gはそれから、半剛性の50mlのポリスチレン−ポリエチレン−EVOHラミネートのカップ容器に入れられて、ホイル蓋で熱的にシールされた。シールされたゼオライトカートリッジはそれから、シールされた金属チャンバに入れられて、頂部及び底部が穿孔された。
Claims (27)
- 飲料カートリッジであって、
頂部表面と、
底部表面と、
前記底部表面から上向きに延在している下方側壁と、
前記頂部及び底部表面の間にあって前記下方側壁から外向きに延在している下方表面を有する縁と、
前記縁の前記下方表面に位置して、加圧気体を前記カートリッジ内に入れて前記カートリッジの内部空間内の飲料媒質を前記カートリッジの外に動かすように開けられるように配置された気体流入口と、
前記下方側壁に形成され且つ前記気体流入口の下方に位置した凹部を含み、カートリッジホルダに対して前記カートリッジの前記気体流入口を回転的に位置させるインデックス形状と、
を備える、飲料カートリッジ。 - 気体源を収容する第1の内部空間を含み、前記頂部表面と前記頂部表面から前記縁まで下向きに延在する上方側壁とを含む、上方部分と、
前記飲料媒質を収容する第2の内部空間を含み、前記底部表面と前記底部表面から上向きに延在する前記下方側壁とを含む、下方部分と、
を備えており、
前記縁が前記上方及び下方側壁から放射状に外向きに延在しており、
前記気体流入口が、加圧気体を前記第2の内部空間に入れて前記飲料媒質を動かして前記第2の内部空間から出すように配置されている、請求項1に記載の飲料カートリッジ。 - 前記縁が、飲料形成マシンのカートリッジホルダによる係合のための第1及び第2のクランプ表面を提供し、気密シールを規定して前記気体源によって発せられた加圧気体を収容する、請求項2に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記頂部表面が、前記気体源にアクセスするために穿孔可能な蓋によって閉じられる開口を含む、請求項2に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記上方部分が前記上方部分の前記第1の内部空間の底の境界を規定する底部壁を含み、前記第1の内部空間を前記第2の内部空間から分離する、請求項2に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記気体源が、液体の存在で気体を放出するように配置されたゼオライト気体源を備える、請求項2に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記カートリッジの前記内部空間の内部にあって前記気体流入口をカバーする蓋部をさらに備えており、前記蓋部が前記気体流入口を通って前記カートリッジの前記内部空間に入る気体の流れを制御する様に構成されている、請求項1に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記蓋部を含む前記内部空間に蓋をさらに備えており、前記下方側壁が前記蓋によって閉じられる開口を規定する、請求項7に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記気体流入口が前記気体流入口を通る流体連通に抵抗し且つそれを可能にするように構成された流れ制御要素を含み、前記流れ制御要素が前記気体流入口を通る流れを許容する様に開くことができる、請求項7に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記流れ制御要素を開けることが、前記蓋部を前記縁の前記下方表面に対して上向きに動かす、請求項9に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記底部表面が流出口を含み、そこを通って前記飲料媒質が前記内部空間を出る、請求項1に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記気体流入口が前記気体流入口を通る流体連通に抵抗し且つそれを可能にするように構成された流れ制御要素を含む、請求項1に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記内部空間が前記縁の上方及び下方表面の間の領域を含み、前記流れ制御要素が前記縁の破壊可能部分を含み、前記流れ制御要素が開けられるとその部分が前記領域に動く、請求項12に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記気体流入口が前記縁の前記下方表面から下向きに延在している突起と、ヒンジと、破損領域とを含み、前記突起の前記縁に対する上向きの動きが前記ヒンジの周囲で前記突起をピボット回転させて、前記破損領域を脱落させて前記気体流入口を開ける、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記突起が下方表面にスロープを有し、前記突起は、前記突起が前記縁に対して上向きに動かされるときに破壊力を前記破損領域に集中するように、前記ヒンジに向かい合う側の方がより長い、請求項14に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記気体流入口が流入口バルブの周囲に配置されたシーリング領域を含み、前記シーリング領域がカートリッジホルダの一部と係合して気密シールを形成して、加圧気体が前記内部空間に入ることを許容するように配置されている、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記気体流入口で前記カートリッジに入る気体を前記内部空間に向けるように構成された気体経路をさらに備えており、前記気体経路が、前記カートリッジ内の飲料媒質の前記気体流入口への動きに抵抗する制約体を含む、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 飲料カートリッジであって、
頂部表面と、
底部表面と、
前記底部表面から上向きに延在している下方側壁と、
前記頂部及び底部表面の間にあって前記下方側壁から外向きに延在している下方表面を有するクランプ構造であって、前記クランプ構造が飲料形成マシンのカートリッジホルダとの係合のために配置されて、前記カートリッジホルダが前記クランプ構造と係合して前記カートリッジを前記カートリッジホルダ内の醸造位置に配置させる、クランプ構造と、
前記クランプ構造の前記下方表面に位置して、加圧気体を前記カートリッジ内に入れて前記カートリッジの内部空間内の飲料媒質を前記カートリッジの外に動かすように開けられるように配置された気体流入口と、
前記下方側壁に形成され且つ前記気体流入口の下方に位置した凹部を含み、カートリッジホルダに対して前記カートリッジの前記気体流入口を回転的に位置させるインデックス形状と、
を備える、飲料カートリッジ。 - 前記クランプ構造が前記下方側壁から外向きに延在している一つ又はそれ以上の突起を含む、請求項18に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 炭酸飲料を形成するための飲料カートリッジであって、
気体源を収容する第1の内部空間を含み、頂部表面と前記頂部表面から下向きに延在する上方側壁とを含む、上方部分と、
前記飲料媒質を収容する第2の内部空間を含み、底部表面と前記底部表面から上向きに延在する下方側壁とを含む、下方部分と、
前記頂部及び底部表面から隔てられて且つそれらの間にあって、前記上方及び下方側壁を越えて放射状に外向きに延在しており、飲料形成マシンのカートリッジホルダと係合して前記気体源によって発せられた加圧気体を収容する気密シールを規定する第1及び第2のクランプ表面を提供する、縁と、
前記縁の下側にあって、加圧気体を前記第2の内部空間内に入れて前記飲料媒質を前記内部空間の外に動かす気体流入口と、
を備えており、前記第1の内部空間の少なくとも一部が前記第2の内部空間の少なくとも一部と重なる、飲料カートリッジ。 - 前記上方部分が上方縁部を含み、前記下方部分が下方縁部を含み、前記上方及び下方縁部が一緒にジョイントされて前記縁を形成する、請求項20に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記上方及び下方縁部に取り付けられた結合部材をさらに備える、請求項21に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記上方及び下方縁部の各々が環状部を含み、それらが各々の第1及び第2のクランプ表面を規定し、前記上方及び下方縁部の各々が前記環状部の放射状に外側の端に周縁部を含む、請求項22に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記第1及び第2のクランプ表面が環状である、請求項23に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記下方部分が前記下方部分の底部表面に位置する流出口を含み、そこを通って前記飲料媒質が前記第2の内部空間を出る、請求項20に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記下方部分が前記下方側壁に凹部を含むインデックス形状を有する、請求項20に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
- 前記気体流入口が前記気体流入口を通る流体連通に抵抗し且つそれを可能にするように構成された流れ制御要素を有する、請求項20に記載の飲料カートリッジ。
