Description
珪灰石 5〜70重量%、好ましくは5〜30重量%、さらにより好ましくは10〜20重量%、
長石、ケイ酸、軽石、若しくはハイドロキシアパタイト、又はそれらの1種以上の組み合わせから選択される第2の切削材 0〜50重量%、

水 10〜50重量%、好ましくは18〜25重量%、
ハイドロキシアパタイト、若しくは長石、又はそれらの混合物から選択される研磨材 0〜50重量%、好ましくは0〜25重量%、

香料、特にオレンジ又はミントの香料 0〜2重量%、

本発明による例示的なペースト及び2種の比較ペースト(製品「A」:パーライト、フッ化ナトリウム、二酸化チタン、グリセリン、水、香料、ソルビトール、シリカを主として含む;及び製品「B1〜B3」:ソルビトール、キシリトール、アミンフッ化物、二酸化ケイ素、軽石、二酸化チタン、水、色素及び香料を主として含み、切削強度が中程度のもの、高いもの及び低いもの)を用いて、市販のセラミックブロック(例えば、Vita社、ドイツ、バート・ゼッキゲン)を処理した。比較対照として、非処理のセラミックブロックもさらに使用した。
次に、クリーニング作用に関する調査も行った。この調査を行うため、前もって象牙質切片(12×20mm)を24時間にわたって紅茶に浸漬させておき、本発明による組成物(「Inv. Comp.」)及び市販されている2種の比較製品のクリーニング作用をこの象牙質切片に対して試験した。上述のように前処理した象牙質切片は実験機器に固定した。
Claims (12)
- 歯科研磨及び/又は歯科クリーニングのための組成物であって、
ケイ酸カルシウムの針状結晶を第1の切削材として少なくとも5重量%含み、
ケイ酸カルシウムの針状結晶の長さと幅の比が3:1〜20:1であることを特徴とする組成物。 - 第1の切削材を5〜70重量%含む、請求項1に記載の歯科研磨及び/又は歯科クリーニングのための組成物。
- 第1の切削材が珪灰石である、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の歯科研磨及び/又は歯科クリーニングのための組成物。
- 少なくとも1つの第2の非針状切削材を含む、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の歯科研磨及び/又は歯科クリーニングのための組成物。

- 少なくとも1つの研磨材を含む、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の歯科研磨及び/又は歯科クリーニングのための組成物。
- 少なくとも1つの研磨材が、ハイドロキシアパタイト、長石、軽石、及び雲母状酸化鉄から選択される、請求項6に記載の歯科研磨及び/又は歯科クリーニングのための組成物。
- 基剤、増粘剤、乳化剤、香料、顔料、及び/又は防腐剤の1種以上をさらに含む、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の歯科研磨及び/又は歯科クリーニングのための組成物。
- 前記組成物全体を100重量%としたとき、
第1の切削材としての珪灰石 5〜70重量%、
長石、ケイ酸、軽石、若しくはハイドロキシアパタイト、又はその組み合わせから選択される第2の切削材 0〜50重量%、
グリセリン 10〜50重量%、
水 10〜50重量%、
ハイドロキシアパタイト及び長石、又はその混合物から選択される研磨材 0〜50重量%、
乳化剤 0〜10重量%、
香料 0〜2重量%、
色素 0〜5重量%、
防腐剤又は防腐剤の混合物 0〜1重量%、並びに
フッ化ナトリウム又はフッ化カリウム 0〜0.5重量%
を含む、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の歯科研磨及び/又は歯科クリーニングのための組成物。 - 前記組成物全体を100重量%としたとき、
第1の切削材としての珪灰石 10〜20重量%、
グリセリン 18〜24重量%、
水 18〜25重量%、
第1の研磨材としてのハイドロキシアパタイト 0〜25重量%、
第2の研磨材としての長石 20〜40重量%、
乳化剤 0〜1重量%、
オレンジの香料又はミントの香料 0〜2重量%、
色素 0〜1.5重量%、
防腐剤としてのフェノキシエタノール又はフェノキシエタノール/パラベンの混合物 0〜1重量%、及び
フッ化ナトリウム又はフッ化カリウム 0〜0.5重量%
を含む、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の組成物。 - 珪灰石を第1の切削材として約15重量%含む、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 天然の歯面又は人工の歯面を研磨及び/又はクリーニングするための、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の組成物の使用。
