Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 視野に対応する画像データを捕捉するよう構成された画像センサと、
前記画像センサと通信するコントローラと、
前記コントローラと通信する慣性センサと、
を備える、車両制御システム用の画像データの処理機能を調整するよう構成された装置であって、
前記コントローラは、
前記画像センサから画像データを受信し、
前記慣性センサからホスト車両の方向に対応する信号を受信し、
標的車両の少なくとも1つの特徴のために前記画像データを走査するよう構成された機能を作動し、
前記画像データの視野の基点をオフセットして、加速度信号に応答して調整された基点を生成し、
前記画像データ内の前記特徴を特定するために前記調整された基点を利用する
ように動作可能であることを特徴とする装置。 - 前記視野は、前記ホスト車両に対して前方方向の領域に対応する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの特徴は、標的車両のヘッドライト及びテールライトのうちの少なくとも1つに起因する発光に対応する、請求項1〜2のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記標的車両の前記特徴を特定するため、前記調整された基点を用いて前記機能を処理するよう、さらに動作可能である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記調整された基点は、前記信号から決定されるような前記ホスト車両の前記方向変化に基づいて決定される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記画像データの前記走査は、前記調整された基点に基づいて非標的物体に対応する物体をフィルタリングすることを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 視野に対応する画像データを捕捉するよう構成された画像センサと、
前記画像センサと通信するコントローラと、
前記コントローラと信号を通信するよう構成される慣性センサと、
を備える、車両制御システム用の画像データの処理機能を調整するよう構成された装置であって、
前記コントローラは、
前記画像センサから画像データを受信し、
前記慣性センサからホスト車両の方向を受信し、
標的車両の少なくとも1つの特徴のために前記画像データを走査するよう構成された機能を作動し、
前記信号から前記車両の速度を計算し、
前記画像データ内の少なくとも1つの特徴の運動速度を特定するべく、少なくとも1つの機能を構成するよう前記速度を利用する、
ように動作可能であることを特徴とする装置。 - 前記コントローラは、前記車両の進行方向を検出するよう動作可能な方向検出装置と通信する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記方向検出装置は、磁気計、コンパス、及び、任意の好適な方向検出装置、のうちの1つを有する、請求項7〜8にいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記車両の前記速度は、前記車両が著しく真っ直ぐな車線の中を移動していることを特定する進行方向に応答して、経時的に前記信号を組み込むことにより決定される、請求項7〜9に記載の装置。
- 前記信号の向心加速度要素が、前記車両が旋回していることを特定する前記進行方向に応答して前記車両の前記速度を決定するために、進行方向から計算される角速度によって除算される、請求項7〜10のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記車両が停止していることを特定するために、前記加速度信号が、所定のノイズ−動き閾値と比較される、請求項7〜11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記車両の軸の数に対応する複数の信号スパイクを決定するために、前記信号が、当該信号の平均と比較される、請求項7〜12のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記車両の前記速度を計算するために、前記車両の2つの車軸の間の距離が、前記複数の信号スパイクの間の時間差によって除算される、請求項7〜13のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記標的車両の特徴は、前記標的車両のヘッドライトとテールライトのうちの少なくとも1つに対応する、請求項7〜14のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
