前記式中、
LRV=チャレンジ試験中に示された対数除去値、
Cf=チャレンジ試験中に測定された供給濃度、
Cp=チャレンジ試験中に測定された濾液濃度である。
・ 開始溶液の組成:16%のポリスルホン、4%のポリビニルピロリドン、ジメチルアセトアミド単体またはさらなる溶媒または非溶媒との混合物であるジメチルアセトアミドであり得る80%の溶媒;
・ 凝固液:44%の水−56%のジメチルアセトアミド;
・ 紡糸ノズル温度:40℃;
・ 好ましい沈殿浴中の非溶媒沈殿組成物:65℃に維持した水;
・ 紡糸速度:400mm/分。
ポリスルホン中空繊維を備える図5に表したものに類似した幾何学的形状の浄化器を製造する。前記繊維の内面および外面の孔隙率を、前記表面のSEM写真を撮影し、閾値フィルタを8ビットの白黒プロットに設定した自動画像処理ソフトウェアImageJ 1.48h3によって前記写真を分析することにより評価する。前記閾値は、元の写真と閾値を設定した写真との間において最良の同化を得るように最良の知識に従って設定した。この評価は、結果として、前記膜の内面上において19.3%の孔隙率(細孔面積と全体面積との間の比率)を与え、外面上において30%の孔隙率を与える。前記浄化器内の繊維の全濾過面積は1.8m2である。
実施例1の浄化器をウイルス除去能力について試験する。
実施例1に記載したように製造したポリスルホン中空繊維を備えた浄化器をバクテリアおよびエンドトキシン除去能力に関して試験する。
・ レジオネラ ニューモフィラ(atcc 33152)
・ 緑膿菌(atcc 9027)
・ 大腸菌(atcc 8739)。
Claims (5)
- 中空繊維の形態であるポリスルホン製の膜であって、150〜250μmの内径および30〜50μmの壁厚を特徴とし、さらに前記繊維の内面上および外面上において異なるサイズおよび形状の細孔を有することを特徴とする、膜。
- 前記内面または外面の一方の上の細孔は、約0.25〜約1.5μmの範囲のサイズ、および2未満の長軸/短軸の比率を備えた、ほぼ円形、ほぼ楕円形、またはほぼ長円形を有し、本質的にこれらの細孔の全体は5×10−2μm2を超える面積を有し、かつ、
反対面上の細孔は、100nm未満のサイズの長軸および12nm未満のサイズの短軸、並びに2〜15の長軸と短軸との間の比率を備えた細長い形状を有し、本質的にこれらの細孔の全体は1×10−2μm2未満の面積を有する、請求項1に記載の膜。 - 前記ほぼ円形、ほぼ楕円形、またはほぼ長円形を有する細孔の累積面積の90%超は、0.1〜3.2μm2の範囲にある面積を有する細孔によるものであり、かつ前記細長い形状を有する細孔の累積面積の95%超は、3.2×10−3μm2未満の面積を有する細孔によるものである、請求項2に記載の膜。
- 浄化器を上水道に接続するための第1開口(12)と、浄水の出口である第2開口(13)とを有するハウジング(11)を備えた使用場所設置型水浄化器(10)であって、前記ハウジングの内側の空間は請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の中空繊維の束(16)によって、前記第1開口と流体が流れるように連通した入口隔室(14)と、前記第2開口と流体が流れるように連通した出口隔室(15)とに分割されており、前記繊維は、前記入口隔室に面した開放端部(18)と、密閉された反対端部とを有する、使用場所設置型水浄化器。
- 請求項4に記載の使用場所設置型水浄化器を操作する方法であって、浄化されるべき水を0.1MPa(1バール)〜1MPa(10バール)の圧力で前記浄化器の前記入口隔室内に供給する工程と、前記第2開口から、前記浄化器の内側の膜の表面の1m2当たり2〜12リットル/分の流量で、生物的汚染物質から浄化された水を取り出す工程からなる、方法。
