使用される方法は、歯のエナメル質用のモデルとして役立つヒドロキシルアパタイト(HA)ディスクからなるインビトロモデルである。このモデルは、フッ酸(F)を含有する様々な溶液を用いることにより、酸エッチング後のエナメル質の酸蝕を予防する効果を試験することを可能にする。以下の比較実施例で示されるように、これは、フッ化水素水溶液の効果及びエナメル質に対するエッチング効果を研究するための優れたインビトロモデルである。
ディスク表面の元素分析のためのエネルギー分散X線分光法(EDS)検出器及びエッチング溶液の誘導結合プラズマ原子発光分光法(ICP−AES)分析を備えた低真空走査電子顕微鏡(SEM)を用いて分析を行った。
一般的に、SEMは、集束された電子ビームで走査することによってサンプルの画像を生じさせる。電子は、サンプル中の原子と相互作用して、検出され得て、サンプルの表面のトポグラフィ及び組成に関する情報を含む様々な信号を生成する。標本は、高真空、低真空、湿潤の状態で観察することができる。現在の分析では、低真空条件が使用されている。
一般的に、ICP−AESは、微量金属の検出に使用される分析技術である。これは、誘導結合プラズマを使用して、励起された原子、及び特定の元素の波長特性で電磁放射を放出するイオンを生成する発光分光法の一種である。この発光の強度は、試料内の元素の濃度を示す。
装置
低真空走査電子顕微鏡であるJEOL JSM 6610 LVを表面の研究に用いた。
HAディスクを準備した。ディスクは、研磨された面と研磨されていない面を有した。ディスクを室温で保存し、乾燥を維持した。
ヒトの生体外の歯(小臼歯)を歯科医の診療から受けた。歯をリンガー溶液に保存し、冷蔵庫に保管した。
研磨されたHAディスクは、エナメル質に対するフッ化物溶液及びエッチングの効果を研究するための優れたインビトロでのモデルであると考えられる。
2%クエン酸(pH2.2)をエッチング溶液として使用した。蒸留水又は水道水を濯ぎに使用した。実験の全てのステップを20〜25℃で実施した。
低真空走査電子顕微鏡であるJEOL JSM 6610 LVを表面の研究に用い、これは、元素分析のためのEDSを装備した。
表に示される成分からなる溶液を調製した。

安息香酸ナトリウムの量を0.30%に増加させ、精製水の量をそれに応じて減少させたことを除いて、表1に示す成分からなる溶液を調製し、試験した。組成物中のフッ化物の総量は0.14%であり、酸性度をpH3.5に調整した。

Claims (10)
- 歯の酸蝕の予防及び/若しくは治療;歯のエナメル質の脱灰又は表面下の脱灰の予防;及び/又は歯のエナメル質若しくは表面下の歯のエナメル質の再石灰化の強化において使用するための、HF、1つ以上の二フッ化物、又はそれらの混合物から選択される少なくとも1つのフッ化物源;及び少なくとも1つの有機酸又はその塩を含む組成物であって、ここで、少なくとも1つの有機酸のpKaは2〜6の範囲にあり;組成物のpHが2.0〜4.5の範囲にある、上記組成物。
- 前記組成物のpHが、2.5〜4.0の範囲、3.0〜3.5の範囲、又は約3.5である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物中に存在するフッ化物の総量が、約0.01重量%〜約4.0重量%、約0.01重量%〜約2.0重量%、約0.01重量%〜約1.0重量%、約0.01重量%〜約0.5重量%、約0.01重量%〜約0.05重量%、又は0.05重量%未満である、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- 前記フッ化物源がHFである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記フッ化物源が、NaHF2、KHF2、NH4HF2、及びそれらの任意の混合物からなる群から選択される二フッ化物である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記有機酸又はその塩が、安息香酸、安息香酸ナトリウム、グリシン、グリコール酸、グルタミン酸、乳酸、及びそれらの任意の混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記有機酸又はその塩が、安息香酸、安息香酸ナトリウム、グリシン、及びそれらの任意の混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 前記フッ化物源がHFであり、前記有機酸又はその塩が安息香酸ナトリウムとグリシンの混合物である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記フッ化物源が二フッ化物であり、前記有機酸又はその塩が安息香酸ナトリウムとグリシンの混合物である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、水溶液、ゲル、泡状体、歯磨剤、歯科用ワニス又は歯磨き粉の形態である、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
