Description

繊維+ポリマーの乾燥重量に対するポリマーの乾燥重量による含有率に関しては、0.5%から50%未満の範囲とすることができる。サイジングに加えて、含浸が繊維の互いの固結に制限される場合は、重量含有率は0.5%から10%の範囲であることが好ましい。繊維の固結の場合には、それらの密着エネルギーは、繊維束のコアでの繊維の互いの結合のために増加する。サイジングの場合には、所望の効果が異なっており、複合材料のポリマーマトリックスに対する繊維の良好な接着のためにマトリックスへの繊維の相溶性を向上させる特定のポリマーにより繊維の周りに作り出された界面による複合体のポリマーマトリックスとの繊維の相溶化に関連する。しかし、繊維のロービングを本発明により固結することにより、繊維とマトリックスとのより良好な相溶化も得られる可能性がある。
