Abstract
Description
(1) σ=F/A=0.34N/(0.05m×200E−9m)=34MPa
グラフェン強化PMMAに関する引張強度測定結果を図8、図9及び図10に示す。これらの図は、大気圧及び低圧おけるグラフェンCVD合成にそれぞれに対応している。図10に示されるように、グラフェン強化PMMAスクロールを破壊するのに必要な平均力値は、65gf(0.64N)であった。グラフェン層は、PMMAスクロールに30gf(これは下記等式(2)に示されるように18GPaの引張強度に相当する)の力を提供した。
(2) σ=F/A=0.3N/(0.05×0.34E−9m)=18GPa
Claims (20)
- グラフェンスクロールの形成方法であって、
触媒基材を化学気相成長チャンバ内に挿入する工程と、
前記化学気相成長チャンバ内において前記触媒基材を水素ガス中でアニールする工程と、
炭化水素を含有する反応ガス混合物に前記アニールされた触媒基材を暴露する工程と、
前記反応ガス混合物への前記アニールされた触媒基材の暴露の後に、前記反応ガス混合物からグラフェンを合成する工程と、
前記合成グラフェンを前記アニールされた触媒基材から分離する工程と、
前記合成グラフェンを、螺旋状断面を有する円筒型多重壁スクロールへと固める工程と
を含む方法。 - 多重壁スクロールへと固める前に、高分子フィルムを前記合成グラフェンに結合させる工程を更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記高分子フィルムを加熱処理して前記高分子フィルムを炭化する工程を更に含む請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記炭化水素が、メタン、エタン、プロパン、ブタン、ペンタン、ヘキサン、ヘプタン、オクタン、アセチレン、ベンゼン、トルエン及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒基材が銅金属を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒基材をアニールする工程が、前記触媒基材を約1000℃まで漸進的に加熱することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記反応ガス混合物が、希ガス及び窒素からなる群から選択される緩衝ガスを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- グラフェン物品を合成する方法であって、
大気圧下で、加熱された化学気相成長チャンバ内に金属基材を通す工程と、
炭素源として、炭化水素を導入し、前記金属基材上に、六角形の結晶粒を含む大面積の単層グラフェンを少なくとも形成する工程と、
前記金属基材と反対側の前記グラフェンの表面に、熱可塑性フィルムを形成する工程と、
前記金属基材を前記グラフェンから分離して複合グラフェン物品を得る工程と
を含む方法。 - 前記高分子フィルムを加熱処理して前記高分子フィルムを炭化する工程を更に含む請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性フィルムが、ポリ(メチルメタクリレート)を含む請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性フィルムが、スピンコートされているか、前記金属基材と反対側の前記グラフェンの表面にスピンコート又はディープコートされている請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記複合グラフェン物品を、螺旋状断面を有する円筒型多重壁スクロールへと巻く工程を更に含む請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記金属基材を前記化学気相成長チャンバから連続的に抜き出す工程を更に含む請求項8に記載の方法。
- 第2主面と反対側の第1主面を有するシート材と、
前記シート材の前記第1主面及び前記第2主面の少なくとも一方に接合されたグラフェン層とを備えるグラフェン強化物品であって、
前記グラフェン層及び前記シート材が巻かれて螺旋状断面を有する円筒型多重壁スクロールを形成し、前記円筒型スクロールが1GPaを超える引張降伏強度を有するグラフェン強化物品。 - 前記シート材が、リグニン、ポリアクリロニトリル、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボネート、ポリイミド、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート及びポリ塩化ビニルからなる群から選択される高分子を含む請求項14に記載のグラフェン強化物品。
- 前記高分子が、炭化されている請求項15に記載のグラフェン強化物品。
- 前記グラフェン層が、多層グラフェンである請求項14に記載のグラフェン強化物品。
- 前記シート材と反対側の前記グラフェンの表面に接合された金属基材を更に備える請求項14に記載のグラフェン強化物品。
- 前記金属基材が、銅、ニッケル、鉄、コバルト、白金、金、チタン、アルミニウム及び鋼の少なくとも一つを含む請求項18に記載のグラフェン強化物品。
- 前記グラフェン強化物品が、金属基材を実質的に含まない請求項14に記載のグラフェン強化物品。
