Claims (21)
- 臓器の内面に対して導入されるように構成される位置調整デバイスであって、
長手方向軸を有するシャフトと、
前記シャフトの遠位端に配置される拡張可能要素と、を備えており、
前記拡張可能要素は、
非拡張状態では実質的に弛緩され、拡張状態では実質的に硬直し、
前記拡張状態では前記長手方向軸の周りで非対称であり、これにより、前記拡張状態の前記位置調整デバイスが前記臓器の位置を変える、位置調整デバイス。 - 前記拡張可能要素が、前記拡張状態において、
前記長手方向軸から離れる方向に延在する発散要素
を含む、請求項1に記載の位置調整デバイス。 - 前記拡張要素が、前記拡張状態において、
前記発散要素の遠位に配置されるスペーシング要素であって、その少なくとも一部が前記長手方向軸に実質的に平行に向けられる、スペーシング要素
をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の位置調整デバイス。 - 前記拡張要素が、前記拡張状態において、
前記スペーシング要素の遠位に配置される収束要素であって、前記長手方向軸の方に向かって延在する、収束要素
をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の位置調整デバイス。 - 前記拡張可能要素が、膨張可能要素を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の位置調整デバイス。
- 前記シャフトが、前記拡張可能要素を前記非拡張状態から前記拡張状態に移行させるように膨張媒体を前記膨張可能要素のキャビティに連通させるための穴を含む、請求項5に記載の位置調整デバイス。
- 前記膨張可能要素の位置、向きおよび形態のうちの少なくとも1つを変えるための位置調整要素
をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の位置調整デバイス。 - 前記位置調整要素が、使用者によって制御可能なワイヤを含む、請求項7に記載の位置調整デバイス。
- 前記膨張可能要素が、複数のチャンバを含む、請求項5に記載の位置調整デバイス。
- 前記複数のチャンバが、
前記膨張可能要素の近位端に配置される第1のチャンバと、
前記膨張可能要素の遠位端に配置される第2のチャンバと
を含み、前記第1のチャンバが前記第2のチャンバとは別に膨張可能である、
請求項9に記載の位置調整デバイス。 - 前記膨張可能要素が、実質的に非可撓性の材料を含む、請求項5に記載の位置調整デバイス。
- 前記拡張可能要素が、拡張可能なメッシュを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の位置調整デバイス。
- 前記拡張可能なメッシュ要素が、ステンレス鋼またはニチノールを含む、請求項12に記載の位置調整デバイス。
- 中空臓器の内面に対して導入されるように構成される位置調整デバイスであって、
長手方向軸を有するシャフトと、
前記シャフトの遠位端に配置される拡張可能要素と、を備えており、
前記拡張可能要素は、
前記長手方向軸から離れる方向に延在する発散要素と、
前記発散要素の遠位に配置されるスペーシング要素であって、その少なくとも一部が前記長手方向軸に実質的に平行に向けられるスペーシング要素と、
前記スペーシング要素の遠位に配置され、前記長手方向軸の方に向かって延在する、収束要素と、を含み、
前記発散要素、前記スペーシング要素および前記収束要素の断面形状および形態が実質的に同じである、
位置調整デバイス。 - 前記拡張可能要素が、収縮形態と膨張形態とを有する膨張可能バルーンを含む、請求項14に記載の位置調整デバイス。
- 前記拡張可能要素が、前記収縮形態では弛緩され、前記膨張形態では実質的に硬直する、請求項15に記載の位置調整デバイス。
- 前記拡張可能要素が、少なくとも2つの別々に膨張可能なチャンバを含む、請求項14〜16のいずれか一項に記載の位置調整デバイス。
- 心臓の左心房から離れる方向に食道の一部を動かす方法であって、
成形された拡張可能要素を中空臓器に挿入するステップであって、前記成形された拡張可能要素が、前記中空臓器の一部を他の臓器から離れる方向に偏向するように配置され方向付けられる、ステップと、
前記成形された拡張可能要素の剛性を増大させ、前記中空臓器の前記一部を前記他の中空臓器から離れる方向に偏向するように、前記中空臓器を広げることなく前記成形された拡張可能要素を拡張するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記中空臓器の前記一部が前記他の臓器から離れる方向に偏向された状態で、前記他の臓器に処置を施すステップ
をさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。 - 前記中空臓器の前記一部内で前記成形された拡張可能要素の位置、向きおよび形態のうちの少なくとも1つを変えるステップ
をさらに含む、請求項18または19に記載の方法。 - 前記成形された拡張可能要素を折り畳むステップと、
前記成形された拡張可能要素を前記中空臓器から除去するステップと
をさらに含む、請求項18または19に記載の方法。
