Claims (2)
- 送信用光を出力先の光ファイバに出力し、前記光ファイバより戻ってくる折り返し光と前記送信用光との干渉をマッハツェンダー光干渉計によりとることで、前記光ファイバ中の伝搬に伴う雑音成分を検出し、検出した雑音成分をもとに前記光ファイバにおける周波数揺らぎを補償する光伝送装置であって、
前記マッハツェンダー光干渉計は、プレーナ光波回路から構成されている
ことを特徴とする光伝送装置。 - 請求項1記載の光伝送装置において、
前記マッハツェンダー光干渉計は、
入射した送信用光を第1光路と第2光路とに分岐する分岐部と、
入射した光を前記第2光路と第3光路とに各々異なる偏光に分岐する偏光分岐部と、
前記第1光路の光と前記第3光路の光とを合波する合波部と
を備えることを特徴とする光伝送装置。
