Abstract

条項13. 編み機が平編み機である、条項11又は12に記載の方法。
条項14. 編み機が、7−18ゲージの針ゲージ間隔によって間隔が空けられた針を有している、条項13に記載の方法。
条項15. 金属合金ワイヤが、編んでいる間、軟質状態にある、条項11から14の何れか一項に記載の方法。
条項16. 金属合金ワイヤを硬化させるために単層金属合金ニットファブリックを熱処理することを更に含む、条項15に記載の方法。
条項17. 断熱材を単層金属合金ニットファブリックの面に付加することを更に含む、条項11から16の何れか一項に記載の方法。
条項18. 編むことが、平編みプロセスか筒編みプロセスのどちらかを使用して実行される、条項11から17の何れか一項に記載の方法。
条項19. 編むことが、緯編みプロセス又は経編みプロセスを使用して実行される、条項11から18の何れか一項に記載の方法。
条項20. 金属合金ワイヤが、ニッケル−クロム超合金から構成されている、条項11から19の何れか一項に記載の方法。
Claims (15)
- 金属合金ワイヤ(520、620、720)のニットループ(510)によって形成された単層金属合金ニットファブリック(500、600、700)であって、華氏1000度(摂氏538度)以上の温度に耐えることができる、単層金属合金ニットファブリック。
- 前記金属合金ワイヤ(520)がニッケル−クロム超合金から構成されている、請求項1に記載の単層金属合金ニットファブリック(500、600、700)。
- 前記金属合金ワイヤ(520、620、720)が、約0.003インチ(0.0762ミリメータ)から約0.007インチ(0.1778ミリメータ)までの直径を有している、請求項1又は2に記載の単層金属合金ニットファブリック。
- 前記単層金属合金ニットファブリックが、約3−10ウェール/センチメータ及び約3−10コース/センチメータを有している、請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載の単層金属合金ニットファブリック(500、600、700)。
- 前記ファブリック(500、600、700)の片側に断熱材を更に含む、請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載の単層金属合金ニットファブリック(500、600、700)。
- 前記金属合金ワイヤ(520、620、720)が、軟質状態で編まれる、請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載の単層金属合金ニットファブリック(500、600、700)。
- 前記金属合金ワイヤ(520、620、720)が、前記ニットファブリック(500、600、700)の最終形状が実現された後に熱硬化される、請求項6に記載の単層金属合金ニットファブリック(500、600、700)。
- 請求項1から7の何れか一項に記載の単層金属合金ニットファブリック(500、600、700)を含む、熱密封部材。
- 金属合金ワイヤ(520、620、720)のニットループによって形成された単層金属合金ニットファブリック(500、600、700)を機械編みするための方法であって、
前記金属合金ワイヤ(520、620、720)を編み機の単一の材料供給器を通して供給することと、
前記単層金属合金ニットファブリック(500、600、700)を形成するために前記金属合金ワイヤ(520、620、720)を編むことであって、前記単層金属合金ニットファブリック(500、600、700)が華氏1000度(摂氏538度)以上の温度に耐えることができる、編むことと
を含む方法。 - 前記金属合金ワイヤ(520、620、720)が、約0.003インチ(0.0762ミリメータ)から約0.007インチ(0.1778ミリメータ)までの直径を有している、請求項9に記載の方法。
