Claims (4)
- 球状内周面に軸方向に延びる複数のトラック溝が形成され、軸方向に離間する開口側と奥側を有する外側継手部材と、球状外周面に前記外側継手部材のトラック溝と対をなす複数のトラック溝が形成された内側継手部材と、前記外側継手部材のトラック溝と内側継手部材のトラック溝との間に介在してトルクを伝達する複数のボールと、このボールを保持し、前記外側継手部材の球状内周面と内側継手部材の球状外周面とに嵌合する球状外周面と球状内周面を有する保持器とを備えた固定式等速自在継手であって、前記外側継手部材のトラック溝は、奥側に位置する第1のトラック溝部(7a)と、開口側に位置する第2のトラック溝部(7b)とからなり、前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)は、継手中心(O)に対して軸方向にオフセットのない曲率中心を持つ単一の曲率半径(R1)のボール軌道中心線(Xa)を有し、ボール軌道中心線(Xa)と継手中心(O)を含む平面(M)が継手の軸線(N−N)に対して傾斜すると共にその傾斜方向が周方向に隣り合う前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)で互いに反対方向に形成され、前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)のボール軌道中心線(Xa)の端部(A)が前記継手中心(O)より開口側に位置し、この端部(A)に前記第2のトラック溝部(7b)のボール軌道中心線(Xb)が接続されてなり、前記内側継手部材のトラック溝のボール軌道中心線(Y)は、作動角0°の状態で継手中心(O)を含み継手の軸線(N−N)に直交する平面(P)を基準として、前記外側継手部材の対となるトラック溝のボール軌道中心線と鏡像対称に形成された固定式等速自在継手において、
前記第2のトラック溝部(7b)のボール軌道中心線(Xb)は、継手の軸線(N−N)に対して半径方向にオフセットした曲率中心を持つ単一の曲率半径(R2)を有し、この曲率半径(R2)が前記曲率半径(R1)より大きく設定されていることを特徴とする固定式等速自在継手。 - 前記曲率半径(R1)と前記曲率半径(R1)との比R2/R1が3〜10の範囲内に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)のボール軌道中心線(Xa)の開口側の端部(A)と前記継手中心(O)とを結ぶ直線(L)が、前記継手中心(O)を含み継手の軸線(N−N)に直交する平面(P)に対してなす角度(β)が5°〜8°に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記トルク伝達ボールの個数が8個であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
