Abstract
【解決手段】二次電池は、電池要素と正極用の外部端子との間の電流の流れを遮断する電流遮断装置と、負極用の外部端子に電気的に接続されたバイパス部材90とを備えている。電流遮断装置は、外装体内において電池要素に電気的に接続された集電部材51と、集電部材51に電気的に接続された反転板41とを有している。反転板41は、外装体の内圧が上昇した場合に集電部材51から分離して電池要素と正極用の外部端子との間の導通を遮断し、更に変形してバイパス部材90と正極用の外部端子とを電気的に接続する。

Description
図1は、実施の形態1における組電池1を示す平面図である。本実施の形態に係る組電池1は、ハイブリッド自動車に搭載されている。組電池1は、ガソリンエンジンやディーゼルエンジンなどの内燃機関とともに、ハイブリッド自動車の動力源とされている。
図10は、実施の形態2における二次電池100を示す斜視図である。図11は、図10中のXI−XI線に沿う二次電池100の部分断面図である。実施の形態2の二次電池100では、中空に形成されたリベット部材19の軸部33を貫通して、絶縁部材191が配置されている。絶縁部材191は、絶縁性材料で形成されている。
図13は、実施の形態3における二次電池100を示す斜視図である。図14は、図13中のXIV−XIV線に沿う二次電池100の部分断面図である。実施の形態3の二次電池100では、中空に形成されたリベット部材19の軸部33を貫通して、導電部材291が配置されている。導電部材291は、導電性材料で形成されている。
Claims (7)
- 電池要素と、
前記電池要素を収容する外装体と、
前記外装体の外部に設けられた第一極の外部端子および第二極の外部端子と、
前記外装体の内圧が上昇した場合に、前記電池要素と前記第一極の外部端子との間の電流の流れを遮断する電流遮断装置と、
を備える、二次電池であって、
前記電流遮断装置は、前記外装体内において前記電池要素に電気的に接続された集電部材と、前記集電部材に電気的に接続された反転板とを有し、
さらに、前記第二極の外部端子に電気的に接続されたバイパス部材を備え、
前記反転板は、前記外装体の内圧が上昇した場合に前記集電部材から分離して前記電池要素と前記第一極の外部端子との間の導通を遮断し、更に変形して前記バイパス部材と前記第一極の外部端子とを電気的に接続する、二次電池。 - 前記バイパス部材は、前記外装体の外部に配置されている、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記外装体と、前記第一極の外部端子および前記第二極の外部端子とは、電気的に絶縁されている、請求項1または2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記外装体は、前記第一極の外部端子および前記第二極の外部端子とは異なる電位を有する、請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電流遮断装置は、前記外装体に固定され、前記第一極の外部端子に電気的に接続され、前記反転板の周縁部を支持するリベット部材を有し、
前記リベット部材は、中空に形成されており、
前記リベット部材を貫通して前記外装体の内部から外部にまで延び、前記バイパス部材に連結された端部を有する、貫通部材をさらに備える、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。 - 前記電流遮断装置は、前記外装体に固定され、前記第一極の外部端子に電気的に接続され、前記反転板の周縁部を支持するリベット部材を有し、
前記リベット部材は、中空に形成されており、
前記リベット部材を貫通して前記外装体の内部から外部にまで延び、前記反転板に連結された端部を有する、貫通部材をさらに備える、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池を複数直列に接続した、組電池。
