Abstract
Description
これによれば、織物の積層枚数を調節することで、強化基材の厚みを繊維強化複合材の所望する厚みに合わせることができる。
これによれば、太さ徐変部を備える糸の糸長手方向において、糸の太さが太くなる方向への力学的特性を高めることができる。
これによれば、経糸の糸長手方向、及び緯糸の糸長手方向の両方向において、太さ徐変部によって強化基材の厚みを徐変させることができる。
これによれば、非連続繊維の繊維束から糸を紡出する際に、紡出する糸の引き延ばし方(ドラフト量)を連続的に制御することで、糸に太さ徐変部を簡単に形成することができる。よって、太さ徐変部を備える糸を用いて、厚み徐変部を備える織物を簡単に形成することができる。
以下、繊維強化複合材用の織物及び繊維強化複合材を具体化した第1の実施形態を図1〜図3にしたがって説明する。
積層織物11の傾斜部24、及び繊維強化複合材10の厚み徐変部12は、各織物20の経糸21について、その太さを徐変させた太さ徐変部22によって形成されており、厚みを徐変させるために、積層される織物20の端部をずらしていない。
(1)織物20の傾斜部24は、経糸21の太さそのものを徐変させた太さ徐変部22によって形成されている。このため、織物20を積層した積層織物11を強化基材とした繊維強化複合材10において、厚み徐変部12の厚みを徐変させるために、積層される織物20の端部をずらす必要がなく、端部付近にマトリックス樹脂Maのみが集まる樹脂リッチが形成されることが抑制される。よって、繊維強化複合材10において、厚み徐変部12の強度低下を抑えることができる。
次に、繊維強化複合材用の織物及び繊維強化複合材を具体化した第2の実施形態を図4〜図5にしたがって説明する。なお、第2の実施形態は、第1の実施形態の構成と同様の部分についてはその詳細な説明を省略する。
(5)織物50は、経糸21と緯糸31を織って形成され、その経糸21が太さ徐変部22を備え、緯糸31も太さ徐変部32を備える。よって、積層織物41及び繊維強化複合材40は、第1方向X及び第2方向Yに沿って厚みが徐変している。このため、繊維強化複合材40において、第1方向X及び第2方向Yの2方向において、厚みが厚くなる方向への強度を高めることができる。
○ 各実施形態において、織物20,50の積層枚数は、繊維強化複合材10,40に要求される厚みに合わせて適宜変更してもよい。また、積層する織物に経糸や緯糸に太さ徐変部を有しない織物を混ぜてもよい。
○ 各実施形態では、経糸21及び緯糸31を非連続繊維11a製としたが、経糸21及び緯糸31を連続繊維製としてもよい。この場合、連続繊維に対し、連続繊維を切断した繊維片を貼り付けて太さ徐変部22,32を形成する。
○ 経糸21及び緯糸31の少なくとも一方において、太さ徐変部をスラブ(節)状として、基準部より太さの太い部位とする。そして、織物において、厚みをその他の部位より厚くしたい部位を太さ徐変部で織って、厚みを厚くしてもよい。このように構成した場合、太さ徐変部の配置、太さを制御することで、繊維層の積層枚数を増やさずに厚みを制御することができる。
Claims (6)
- 経糸及び緯糸を有する織物を強化基材とした繊維強化複合材用の織物であって、
前記経糸及び前記緯糸の少なくとも一方は、糸長手方向に沿って糸の太さが徐変する太さ徐変部を備えていることを特徴とする繊維強化複合材用の織物。 - 前記強化基材は、複数の前記織物を、該織物の厚み方向に積層して構成される請求項1に記載の繊維強化複合材用の織物。
- 前記経糸又は前記緯糸が前記太さ徐変部を有する請求項1又は請求項2に記載の繊維強化複合材用の織物。
- 前記経糸及び前記緯糸が前記太さ徐変部を有する請求項1又は請求項2に記載の繊維強化複合材用の織物。
- 前記太さ徐変部を備える糸は、非連続繊維製である請求項1〜請求項4のうちいずれか一項に記載の繊維強化複合材用の織物。
- 経糸及び緯糸を有する織物製の強化基材にマトリックス樹脂を含浸させた繊維強化複合材であって、前記織物が請求項1〜請求項5のうちいずれか一項に記載の繊維強化複合材用の織物である繊維強化複合材。
