2Ag2O+C→4Ag+CO2
平均粒径が150μmの顆粒状にした酸化第一銀(正極活物質)95質量%と、黒鉛(導電助剤)5質量%とを含有する混合物を金型に充填し、直径8.9mm、高さ0.75mmの円板状に加圧成形して正極合剤成形体を作製し、これに下記の電解液の一部を含浸させた。
直径9.1mm、高さ0.25mmの円板状に加圧成形した正極合剤成形体を用い、外装缶として、SUS304鋼板を絞り加工した後に実施例1と同じ条件でアニール処理を行った金属缶を用いて、電池のサイズを直径9.5mm、厚さ1.3mmに変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、扁平形アルカリ一次電池を作製した。
外装缶として、NAS304LG鋼板を絞り加工した後に実施例1と同じ条件でアニール処理を行った金属缶を用いた以外は実施例2と同様にして、扁平形アルカリ一次電池を作製した。
絞り加工後の金属缶をアニール処理せずに、そのまま外装缶として用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして扁平形アルカリ一次電池を作製した。

Claims (2)
- 外装缶、封止体、および前記外装缶と前記封止体との間に配置されたガスケットを有する電池容器内に、正極、負極および電解質を収容してなる扁平形電池を製造する方法であって、
オーステナイト系またはオーステナイト・フェライト系ステンレス鋼材を絞り加工して、底面部と、一方に開口部を有する側面部と、前記底面部と前記側面部とを繋ぐ折り曲げ部とを有する断面が略コの字状であって、前記側面部の厚みが0.1〜0.3mmの金属缶を用い、前記金属缶における前記底面部、前記折り曲げ部および前記側面部のビッカース硬さを140〜320(HV)とし、かつ前記折り曲げ部と前記底面部とのビッカース硬さの差、および前記側面部と前記底面部とのビッカース硬さの差を、それぞれ前記底面部のビッカース硬さの15%以内として前記外装缶を製造する工程(A)と、
前記外装缶の側面部の開口部側を内方にかしめ、前記折り曲げ部と前記底面部とのビッカース硬さの差を90(HV)以下とし、前記側面部の開口部付近と前記折り曲げ部とのビッカース硬さの差を50(HV)以上とする工程(B)とを有することを特徴とする扁平形電池の製造方法。 - 前記工程(A)において、前記金属缶を800〜1200℃でアニール処理する請求項1に記載の扁平形電池の製造方法。
