Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の光学積層体の製造方法は、厚みが100μm以下の薄ガラスを製造する薄ガラス製造工程と、該薄ガラスの片面または両面に光学フィルムを積層する積層工程とを含み、該薄ガラス製造工程と、該積層工程とが一貫ラインで行われ、該積層工程において、該薄ガラスが支持された状態で、該薄ガラス上に該光学フィルムを貼り合わせる。

Description
1つの実施形態においては、上記積層工程において、該薄ガラスが支持された状態で、該薄ガラスの一方の面に第1の光学フィルムを貼り合わせ、その後、該薄ガラスと該第1の光学フィルムとの積層体が支持された状態で、該薄ガラスの他方の面に第2の光学フィルムを貼り合わせる。

1つの実施形態においては、上記光学フィルムの23℃における弾性率が、1.5GPa〜10GPaである。
1つの実施形態においては、上記接着剤層の厚みが、0.001μm〜20μmである。
1つの実施形態においては、上記接着剤を塗工して形成された塗工層の硬化収縮率が、0.1%〜30%である、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の光学積層体の製造方法。
上記薄ガラス10の製造方法は、任意の適切な方法が採用され得る。代表的には、上記薄ガラス10は、シリカやアルミナ等の主原料と、芒硝や酸化アンチモン等の消泡剤と、カーボン等の還元剤とを含む混合物を、1400℃〜1600℃の温度で溶融し、薄板状に成形した後、冷却して作製される。上記薄ガラス10の薄板成形方法としては、例えば、スロットダウンドロー法、フュージョン法、フロート法等が挙げられる。これらの方法によって板状に成形された薄ガラスは、薄板化したり、平滑性を高めたりするために、必要に応じて、フッ酸等の溶剤により化学研磨されてもよい。
積層工程においては、上記薄ガラスの片面または両面に光学フィルムを積層する。1つの実施形態においては、図示例のように、薄ガラス10の両面に光学フィルム20、20’が積層される。また、別の実施形態においては、薄ガラスの一方の面に光学フィルムが積層され、他方の面には樹脂フィルムが積層される。樹脂フィルムは、主に薄ガラスを保護する保護フィルムとしての機能を有する。また、さらに別の実施形態においては、薄ガラスの一方の面に光学フィルムが積層され、薄ガラスと1枚の光学フィルムとを備える光学積層体が製造される。

Claims (7)
- 厚みが100μm以下の薄ガラスを製造する薄ガラス製造工程と、
該薄ガラスの片面または両面に光学フィルムを積層する積層工程とを含み、
該薄ガラス製造工程と、該積層工程とが一貫ラインで行われ、
該積層工程において、
該薄ガラスが支持された状態で、該薄ガラス上に該光学フィルムを貼り合わせる、
光学積層体の製造方法。 - 厚みが100μm以下の薄ガラスを製造する薄ガラス製造工程と、
該薄ガラスの両面に光学フィルムを積層する積層工程とを含み、
該薄ガラス製造工程と、該積層工程とが一貫ラインで行われ、
該積層工程において、
該薄ガラスが支持された状態で、該薄ガラスの一方の面に第1の光学フィルムを貼り合わせ、その後、
該薄ガラスと該第1の光学フィルムとの積層体が支持された状態で、該薄ガラスの他方の面に第2の光学フィルムを貼り合わせる、
光学積層体の製造方法。 - 前記薄ガラスの支持が、搬送ベルトにより行われる、請求項1または2に記載の光学積層体の製造方法。
- 前記薄ガラスの支持が、支持ロールにより行われる、請求項1または2に記載の光学積層体の製造方法。
- 前記光学フィルムの23℃における弾性率が、1.5GPa〜10GPaである、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の光学積層体の製造方法。
- 前記接着剤層の厚みが、0.001μm〜20μmである、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の光学積層体の製造方法。
- 前記接着剤を塗工して形成された塗工層の硬化収縮率が、0.1%〜30%である、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の光学積層体の製造方法。
