Abstract

Claims (10)
- チップレスRFIDタグをリアルタイムで符号化するための方法であって、
チップレスRFIDトランスポンダを導電性材料に暴露するステップを含み、前記RFIDトランスポンダは、
アンテナと、ともに第1のスペクトルシグネチャを規定する複数の共振構造とを備え、前記複数の共振構造の各々は、それぞれの周波数領域を含み、
前記暴露するステップは、少なくとも1つの前記共振構造を短絡させるために、前記少なくとも1つの前記共振構造上に前記導電性材料を堆積させるステップを含み、
前記複数の共振構造のうちの、前記導電性材料によって短絡されない残りの前記共振構造は、前記RFIDトランスポンダの第2のスペクトルシグネチャを規定する、方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの前記共振構造上に前記導電性材料を堆積させるステップは、前記RFIDトランスポンダの前記第1のスペクトルシグネチャを変化させる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 在庫を追跡する方法であって、
チップレスRFIDトランスポンダを製品上に配置するステップであり、前記RFIDトランスポンダは、

前記RFIDトランスポンダを製品上に配置するステップと、
前記導電性材料が堆積された後に、前記RFIDトランスポンダを製品上に配置するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記導電性材料は導電性薄膜を含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- チップレスRFIDトランスポンダであって、
アンテナと、ともに前記RFIDトランスポンダのスペクトルシグネチャを規定する複数の共振構造であって、前記複数の共振構造の各々は、それぞれの周波数領域を含む、複数の共振構造と、
少なくとも1つの前記共振構造上に堆積されている導電性材料であって、前記導電性インクは前記少なくとも1つの前記共振構造を短絡させ、前記RFIDの前記スペクトルシグネチャは、前記短絡された共振構造の自然周波数からシフトされる、導電性材料と
を備える、チップレスRFIDトランスポンダ。 - 前記導電性材料は所定のパターンの導電性インクを含む、請求項6に記載のチップレスRFIDトランスポンダ。
- RFIDトランスポンダの少なくとも1つの共振構造上に導電性材料を堆積させるためのプリンタと、
前記プリンタと通信している少なくとも1つのコントローラと
を備える、製品識別システムであって、
前記コントローラは、
データおよび命令を記憶するための少なくとも1つのメモリと、
前記少なくとも1つのメモリにアクセスし、命令を実行するように構成されている少なくとも1つのプロセッサと
を備え、前記命令は、
前記少なくとも1つのメモリから識別データを取り出すことであって、前記識別データは、製品の識別情報に対応する、取り出すことと、
チップレスRFIDトランスポンダの設計データを取り出すことであって、前記設計データは、前記チップレスRFIDトランスポンダの複数の共振構造の各々に対応する周波数領域情報を含む、取り出すことと、
前記識別データおよび前記設計データに基づいてコードを生成することと、
スペクトルシグネチャを前記コードと関連付けることと、
前記設計データから、前記複数の共振構造のいずれがともに前記スペクトルシグネチャを規定するか、および、前記複数の共振構造のいずれが前記スペクトルシグネチャに寄与しないかを識別することによって、パターンデータを生成することと、
前記RFIDトランスポンダの前記少なくとも1つの共振構造が前記スペクトルシグネチャ外の領域に周波数シフトされるように、前記導電性材料が前記RFIDトランスポンダの前記少なくとも1つの共振構造を短絡させるように、前記パターンデータに従って前記導電性材料を堆積させるために前記プリンタを起動することと
を含む、製品識別システム。 - 前記導電性材料は、キャリア内に分散されている粒子を含む導電性インクを含み、前記粒子は、銅またはアルミニウムから選択される少なくとも1つの材料を含む、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 汎用RFIDトランスポンダをカスタマイズするための方法であって、
前記汎用RFIDトランスポンダの少なくとも1つの共振構造を導電性材料に暴露するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つの共振構造上に導電性材料を堆積させることによって、前記RFIDトランスポンダの少なくとも1つの共振構造の共振を変化させるステップと
を含み、
前記変化させるステップは、前記共振構造の共振が第1の共振から第2の共振へとシフトするように、前記共振構造を電気的に短絡させるステップを含む、
方法。
