Abstract
【解決手段】燃料噴射装置100は、内燃機関110の燃焼室115に、例えばジメチルエーテル等の液化ガス燃料を噴射する。燃料噴射装置100は、インジェクタ40及び制御ユニット50を備えている。インジェクタ40は、噴孔44及び液化ガス燃料を噴孔44へ流通させる高圧燃料流路45を形成するノズルボディ41を有している。制御ユニット50は、内燃機関110の運転状態に応じて、燃料流路を流れる液化ガス燃料の温度及び圧力をそれぞれ調整する温度調整部52及び圧力調整部51を、機能ブロックとして構築可能である。

Description
図1及び図2に示す本発明の第一実施形態による燃料噴射装置100は、燃料タンク190、内燃機関110、及び燃料供給システム180と共に車両に搭載されている。燃料噴射装置100は、複数のインジェクタ40及び制御ユニット50等によって構成されている。燃料噴射装置100は、液化ガス燃料の一種であるジメチルエーテル(Dimethyl Ether,DME)を、インジェクタ40の噴孔44から燃焼室115に噴射することで、燃焼に必要なDME燃料を各気筒に供給する。
図7に示す本発明の第二実施形態は、第一実施形態の変形例である。第二実施形態において、第一実施形態のウォータギャラリ113及びオイルギャラリ114(図2参照)に相当する構成は、シリンダヘッド211から省略されている。加えて、第一実施形態の燃料ギャラリ49(図2参照)に相当する構成は、第二燃料ギャラリ212bとして、シリンダヘッド211に設けられている。
以上、本発明による複数の実施形態について説明したが、本発明は、上記実施形態に限定して解釈されるものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲内において種々の実施形態及び組み合わせに適用することができる。
Claims (8)
- 内燃機関(110)の燃焼室(115)に液化ガス燃料を噴孔(44)から噴射する燃料噴射装置であって、
液化ガス燃料を前記噴孔へ流通させる燃料流路(45)を形成する流路形成部材(41)と、
前記内燃機関の運転状態に応じて、前記燃料流路を流れる液化ガス燃料の温度を調整する温度調整部(52)と、
前記内燃機関の運転状態に応じて、前記燃料流路を流れる液化ガス燃料の圧力を調整する圧力調整部(51)と、を備えることを特徴とする燃料噴射装置。 - 前記温度調整部は、前記内燃機関の負荷が高くなるほど、液化ガス燃料の温度を低く調整することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記圧力調整部は、前記内燃機関の負荷が高くなるほど、液化ガス燃料の圧力を高く調整することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記温度調整部は、前記燃料流路の液化ガス燃料の温度を下げる冷却器(61,261)を制御することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記冷却器は、前記流路形成部材の周囲に液化ガス燃料を流通させる冷却流路(62,262)を形成し、当該冷却流路の液化ガス燃料の気化潜熱により、前記燃料流路を流れる液化ガス燃料を冷却することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記温度調整部は、前記燃料流路の液化ガス燃料の温度を上げる昇温器(63,263)を制御することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記昇温器(63)は、前記流路形成部材の周囲に熱交換流路(113,114)を形成し、前記内燃機関の冷却水及び潤滑油の少なくとも一方を前記熱交換流路に溜めることにより、前記燃料流路を流れる液化ガス燃料を昇温することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の燃料噴射装置。
- 前記昇温器は、前記流路形成部材の周囲に液化ガス燃料を溜める昇温燃料室(64,264)を形成し、当該昇温燃料室の液化ガス燃料の保有熱により、前記燃料流路を流れる液化ガス燃料を昇温することを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の燃料噴射装置。
