Abstract
Description
ポリウレタンと、ポリスチレン、アクリルポリマー、ポリビニルピロリドン、これらのコポリマー、これらの誘導体、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される約0.01重量%〜約30重量%(約0.1重量%〜約3.0重量%など)の少なくとも添加物とを含む、弾性繊維を提供することを含んで提供され、
弾性繊維は、織物、不織布、フィルム、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される基材の1つ以上の層に接着される。
繊維、または少なくとも85重量%のセグメントポリウレタンを含む長鎖合成ポリマーを調製するために有用なポリウレタンウレア組成物。典型的に、これらは、ジイソシアネートと反応させられて、NCO末端プレポリマー(「キャップされたグリコール」)を形成し、その後ジメチルアセトアミド、ジメチルホルムアミド、またはN−メチルピロリドンなどの好適な溶剤中に溶解され、二官能鎖延長剤と反応させられる、ポリマーグリコールまたはポリオールを含む。ポリウレタンは、鎖延長剤がジオールであるときに形成される(溶剤なしで調製され得る)。ポリウレタンの亜分類であるポリウレタンウレアは、鎖延長剤がジアミンであるときに形成される。スパンデックスに紡糸され得るポリウレタンウレアポリマーの調製において、グリコールは、ジイソシアネートを有するヒドロキシ末端基と1つ以上のジアミンとの逐次反応によって延長される。いずれの場合も、ポリマーに粘度を含む必要な特性を提供するために、グリコールは鎖延長を受けなくてはならない。所望される場合、ジラウリン酸ジブチルすず、ジ(2−エチルヘキサン酸)すず(II)、鉱酸、トリエチルアミン及びN,N′−ジメチルピペラジンなどの三級アミン、ならびに他の既知の触媒が、キャップするステップを補助するために使用され得る。
結合向上添加物は、ポリスチレン、アクリルポリマー、ポリビニルピロリドン、これらのコポリマー、これらの誘導体、及びこれらの組み合わせから選択されるものなどの任意の好適な炭化水素樹脂であり得る。誘導体には、エステル、酸、及びアミドなどが挙げられる。結合向上添加物は、300〜500,000の数平均分子量などの任意の好適な分子量のものであり得る。より高い数平均分子量は、50,000〜500,000または150,000〜300,000であり得る。より低い数平均分子量は、50,000未満であり得る。より低い数平均分子量の炭化水素樹脂の好適な範囲は、約300〜45,000または1000〜40,000であり得る。
ポリウレタンウレア組成物中に任意で含まれ得る添加物の分類を、以下に列記する。例示的かつ非限定的な一覧が含まれる。しかしながら、追加の添加物が当該技術分野において既知である。例には、抗酸化剤、UV安定剤、着色剤、顔料、架橋剤、相変更材料(パラフィンワックス)、抗菌剤、鉱物(すなわち銅)、マイクロカプセル化添加物(すなわちアロエベラ、ビタミンEゲル、アロエベラ、海藻、ニコチン、カフェイン、香気、または芳香)、ナノ粒子(すなわちシリカまたは炭素)、炭酸カルシウム、難燃剤、抗粘着添加物、塩素耐分解添加物、ビタミン、薬剤、芳香剤、電導性添加物、染色剤及び/または染色補助剤(四級アンモニウム塩など)が挙げられる。ポリウレタンウレア組成物に添加され得る他の添加物には、接着促進剤、帯電防止剤、耐クリープ剤、光学的増白剤、癒着剤、導電添加物、発光添加物、潤滑剤、有機及び無機充填剤、保存剤、調質剤、熱変色性添加物、害虫忌避剤、及び湿潤剤、安定剤(ヒンダードフェノール、酸化亜鉛、ヒンダードアミン)、スリップ剤(シリコーン油)、ならびにこれらの組み合わせが挙げられる。
いくつかの実施形態の繊維は、従来のウレタンポリマー溶剤(例えばDMAc)を有する溶液からポリウレタンウレアポリマーを溶液紡糸(湿潤紡糸または乾燥紡糸のいずれか)することによって生成される。ポリウレタンウレアポリマー溶液は、以上に記載する任意の組成物または添加物を含み得る。ポリマーは、1.6〜2.3、好ましくは1.8〜2.0の範囲内のジイソシアネート対グリコールのモル比で、有機ジイソシアネートを適切なグリコールと反応させて、「キャップされたグリコール」を生成することによって調製される。その後、キャップされたグリコールはジアミン鎖延長剤の混合物と反応させられる。結果として生じるポリマー中、軟性セグメントはポリマー鎖のポリエーテル/ウレタン部分である。これらの軟性セグメントは、60℃未満の融解温度を呈する。硬性セグメントはポリマー鎖のポリウレタン/ウレア部分であり、これらは200℃よりも高い融解温度を有する。硬性セグメントは、ポリマーの総重量の5.5〜9%、好ましくは6〜7.5%に達する。
本発明の代表的な実施形態は、本発明の原理及び実施を説明する以下の実施例への参照とともに記載される。これらの実施例において、従来の方法に従って調製されるポリウレタン/ウレアは、線状ポリマー(Wichita,KS及びWilmington,DEのInvista,S.a.r.L.から商業的に入手可能)であり、
Stはポリスチレンを意味し、
St1はより低い数平均分子量のポリスチレンを意味し、
BMはポリ(ブチルメタクリレート)を意味し、
IBMはポリ(イソブチルメタクリレート)を意味し、
MMAはポリ(メチルメタクリレート)を意味し、
ANはポリアクリロニトリルを意味し、
SMMAはコポリマーポリ(スチレン−コ−メチルメタクリレート)を意味し、
SANはコポリマーポリ(スチレン−コ−アクリロニトリル)を意味し、
PVPはポリビニルピロリドンを意味し、
MB2766は熱可塑性アクリル樹脂であり、
ZeroCreep(商標)はホットメルト弾性付与接着剤を意味する。
芯溶液
セグメントポリウレタンをジメチルアセトアミド溶剤中に完全に溶解して、紡糸芯溶液を得た。それとして、ポリウレタン対DMACの混合重量比は、35:65(w/w)であった。
ポリスチレンをジメチルアセトアミド溶剤中に完全に溶解させて、ポリスチレン保存溶液を得、それをその後セグメントポリウレタン溶液(芯溶液を参照されたい)と混合した。それとして、ポリスチレン対ポリウレタンの混合重量比は、表1に列記する。均一性を確実にするために、各コポリマー試料を、特性評価または紡糸の開始前に6時間、完全に混合した。
ポリスチレンをポリ(メチルメタクリレート)またはポリ(アクリロニトリル)のいずれかと置換し、表1に示す混合重量比(w/w)以外は実施例1と同一の手順及び条件を使用した。この試験品目の紡糸時紡績糸特性を測定し、表1に記載した。
ポリスチレンをジメチルアセトアミド溶剤中に完全に溶解させて、ポリスチレン溶液(30%)を得、形成したポリマー溶液を紡績糸に紡糸した。この試験品目の紡糸時紡績糸特性を測定し、表3aに記載した。
ポリスチレン及びポリビニルピロリドンの両方を別々にジメチルアセトアミド溶剤中に完全に溶解させて、ポリスチレン溶液(30%)及びポリビニルピロリドン溶液(20%)を得た。その後、ポリスチレン溶液(30%)及びポリビニルピロリドン溶液(20%)から作製したポリマー混和溶液を紡績糸に紡糸した。この試験品目の紡糸時紡績糸特性を測定し、表3に記載した。
より低い平均数分子量のポリスチレンをジメチルアセトアミド溶剤中に完全に溶解させて、ポリスチレン溶液(60%)を得、形成したポリマー溶液を紡績糸に紡糸した。この試験品目の紡糸時紡績糸特性を測定し、表3bに記載した。
バイコンポーネントスパンデックス繊維を不織布に結合させた後、前に記載した方法に従って、結合保持率(100%クリープ保持率)について試料を試験した。おむつ用途において、典型的に、本明細書以下に記載する特定の試験において、それが、ホットメルト接着剤が基材上に適用されてから2日以内に行われる際、結合保持率が60%超、好ましくは70%超、より好ましくは75%超、最も好ましくは80%超のいずれかであるとき、スパンデックス繊維の結合性能は良好であると言われる。これらの試験は、ホットメルト接着剤によってどのレベルの接着及び結合保持率が達成され得るのかを示す。ホットメルト接着剤の高いコストのため、接着剤は、18gsm(接着剤材料で被覆された1平方メートルの基材当たりの接着剤材料グラム)未満、より好ましくは15gsm以下、及び最も好ましくは12gsm以下の追加量で使用される。米国特許第20090264580号。

Claims (20)
- 積層構造体であって、
