Claims (15)
- ターボファンエンジンであって、
複数のブレード(16)を伴う回転ファンを備えるタービンエンジンと、
前記ブレード(16)を囲む部分を有するナセル(24)と、
発電機(30)であり、
主ロータ巻線(40)及び主ステータ巻線(46)を有する主機(34)と、
励磁ロータ巻線(42)及び励磁ステータ巻線(48)を有する励磁器(36)と、
前記励磁ロータ巻線(42)を前記主ロータ巻線(40)に電気結合する整流器(52)と、
前記励磁ステータ巻線(48)及び前記主ステータ巻線(46)に電気結合され、前記励磁ステータ巻線(48)に電気供給することにより前記主機(34)の前記励磁を制御する発電機制御ユニット(GCU)(28)とを備える
発電機(30)とを備え、
前記主ロータ巻線(40)及び前記励磁ロータ巻線(42)が、前記ブレード(16)のうちの少なくとも1つ内に位置するロータアセンブリ(22)を形成し、前記主ステータ巻線(46)及び前記励磁ステータ巻線(48)が、前記ロータアセンブリ(22)の回転径路に沿って前記ナセル(24)内に固定的に位置するステータアセンブリ(26)を形成し、それにより、前記タービンエンジンの前記動作が前記ファンを回転させ、前記ファンが、発電するために前記ステータアセンブリ(26)を通り越して前記ロータアセンブリ(22)をその回転径路に沿って回転させる、ターボファンエンジン(10)。 - 複数のロータアセンブリ(22)をさらに備え、前記複数のロータアセンブリ(22)のうちの少なくとも一部が、単一のブレード(16)及び様々なブレード(16)のうちの少なくとも一方に位置する、請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 前記ブレード(16)の全てがロータアセンブリ(22)を有する、請求項2に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 前記回転径路に沿って前記ナセル(24)の周りに離間した複数のステータアセンブリ(26)をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- ステータアセンブリ(26)の数がロータアセンブリ(22)の数と等しい、請求項4に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 前記ステータアセンブリ(26)が、多相電気を発生させるために前記ナセル(24)の周りに配置及び集合される、請求項4に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 前記GCU(28)が、前記発生された電気並びに前記配置及び集合されたステータアセンブリ(26)から発生されGCU(28)により合計された電気のうちの少なくとも一方を所定の周波数で出力する、請求項6に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 前記所定の周波数が、一定の所定の周波数及び400Hzで115VACのうちの少なくとも一方である、請求項7に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 前記ロータアセンブリ(22)及び前記回転ファンのうちの少なくとも一方が前記整流器(52)を備える、請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- PMGステータ巻線(50)を有し前記ステータアセンブリ(26)の一部を形成する永久磁石発電機(PMG)(38)と、前記ロータアセンブリ(22)の一部を形成するPMG永久磁石とをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 前記PMGステータ巻線(50)が、前記GCU(28)に電気結合され、前記GCU(28)に電気供給する、請求項10に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 前記GCU(28)が、電気を選択的に供給して前記励磁巻線(48)を励磁させる、請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 各励磁ロータ巻線(42)が前記整流器(52)の入力部と電気結合され、各主ロータ巻線(40)が前記整流器(52)の出力部と電気結合される、請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 前記励磁ステータ巻線(48)及び前記主ステータ巻線(46)のうちの少なくとも一方に始動電流を加えるためのAC電源(172)を備える始動機/発電機(130)をさらに備え、前記始動電流を加えることによって、前記回転ファンを回転させるトルクを発生させる、請求項1に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
- 前記始動電流が前記GCU(28)を介して加えられる、請求項14に記載のターボファンエンジン(10)。
