前記血管閉塞コイルの開口部と、前記血管塞栓コイルの軸方向の管腔内に配置された管状部材壁の遠位端部とを貫通しており、これにより前記管状部材を前記血管閉塞コイルに固定するロックピンと;
を具えることを特徴とする血管閉塞コイル送達アセンブリ。 - 請求項1に記載の血管閉塞具送達アセンブリが、さらに、前記血管閉塞コイルの軸方向の管腔内に配置された引張抵抗部材を具えており、当該引張抵抗部材の近位端が前記ロックピンに連結されていることを特徴とする血管閉塞具送達アセンブリ。

コイル管腔を規定する血管閉塞コイルであって、近位端部に第1および第2のコイル巻きつけ部を有し、当該第1および第2のコイル巻きつけ部がその間にコイルの開口部を規定する血管閉塞コイルと;
送達ワイヤ管腔を規定し、送達ワイヤ導管と送達ワイヤとを有する送達ワイヤアセンブリであって、前記送達ワイヤが、前記送達ワイヤ導管に取り付けられて、前記送達ワイヤ導管の遠位の送達ワイヤ管腔を貫通しており、前記送達ワイヤが電解切り離しゾーンを有する送達ワイヤアセンブリと;
リンク管腔を規定するリンクであって、当該リンクが、近位端と遠位端を有するリンク体を具え、前記リンク体の近位端が前記リンク管腔と連通しているリンク開口部を規定しており、前記リンク体の遠位端が、前記リンク体から半径方向に延在するリンクディテントを有しているリンクと;を具え、
前記送達ワイヤの遠位端部が、前記リンク開口部を貫通して前記リンク管腔内に延びて、前記電解切り離しゾーンが前記リンク管腔の外側に配置されており、
前記リンクの遠位端部が前記コイル管腔内に延びており、
前記リンクディテントが前記コイルの開口部を貫通しており、これにより前記リンク体と前記送達ワイヤアセンブリとを前記血管閉塞コイルに固定している、
ことを特徴とする血管閉塞コイル送達システム。 - 請求項11に記載の血管閉塞コイル送達システムにおいて、前記リンクがさらに、前記リンク体の近位端に形成されたキャップを具えており、当該キャップが、前記リンク体の断面積よりも大きな断面積を有しており、前記リンク体が前記コイル管腔内に進入したときに、前記キャップの断面積により前記キャップがコイル管腔内に入らないようになっており、前記リンク開口部が前記キャップ内にあることを特徴とする血管閉塞コイル送達システム。
- 請求項11に記載の血管閉塞コイル送達システムにおいて、前記リンク体がさらに、前記リンク管腔と連通している半径方向のリンクポートを規定しており、本システムがさらに、前記リンクポートと前記リンク管腔に配置された接着剤を具えて、当該接着剤が、前記送達ワイヤの遠位端部を前記リンク体に固定していることを特徴とする血管閉塞コイル送達システム。
- 請求項11に記載の血管閉塞コイル送達システムにおいて、前記リンクがさらに、前記リンク体の遠位端でループを規定しており、前記血管閉塞コイルがさらに、当該血管閉塞コイルの遠位端に取り付けられた引張抵抗部材を具えて、前記引張抵抗部材の近位端が前記ループを貫通しており、これにより前記血管閉塞コイルの遠位端を前記リンクに取り付けていることを特徴とする血管閉塞コイル送達システム。
- 請求項12に記載の血管閉塞コイル送達システムにおいて、前記リンクが円筒形状を有しており、前記リンク体の外径が、前記コイル管腔の直径とほぼ等しいことを特徴とする血管閉塞コイル送達システム。
