有効成分:ジクロロイソシアヌル酸ナトリウムNaDCC二水和物(Acros Chemicalから取得)−全配合の39.4重量%
ゲル化剤:ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース(DOW Chemicalから取得したMethocel40−202PCG)−全配合の42.4重量%
結合剤:ステアリン酸グリセリル(Making Cosmeticsから取得)−全配合の10.2重量%
膨張剤:NaCl(Sig/m2a Aldrichから取得)−全配合の8重量%
あるいは、クエン酸(Sig/m2a Aldrichから取得)および炭酸水素ナトリウム(Chem−IMPEX INT’L,Inc.から取得) ― それぞれ全配合の4重量%
調製方法
溶解試験
式1:NaDCC初期濃度=NaDCCの初期質量/脱イオン水容積
197.5mg/0.800L=246.9ppm
式3を用いて、応答を表3の濃度に変換した。

式3:濃度(ppm)=応答(AU)/0.0085
実施例5:シアノバクテリア細胞密度を減少させるための浮遊性製剤の使用[I]
1.最初の処理から3時間後、水面上でクロロフィルa濃度の50〜70%の低下が観察され、これは反復処理での5日間にわたる処理で99.96%の低下に達した(図3A)。予想外に、この反復処理は水柱にも影響を及ぼし、0日目および無処理の対照と比較して、水深50cmで50%〜99%のクロロフィルaの低下が観察された(図3B)。
2.シアノバクテリア数の減少は光合成収率の低下ももたらした:系からのCO2のより低い消費が炭酸を減少させて重炭酸塩濃度の上昇をもたらし、したがってpHレベルの低下をもたらす。pHは、8.0から4.0に低下した(図3C)。
3.光合成収率の喪失のため、溶存酸素(DO)測定値も減少すると予想された:水中のO2濃度はとても速く低下し、すなわち1日後O2濃度は約50%減少し、5日間の測定の間持続した(図3D).
4.植物プランクトンの著しい減少にもかかわらず、水柱に沿って測定した減光、ならびにTSSまたは導電率は意外にも変わらなかった。
実施例6:シアノバクテリア細胞密度を減少させるための浮遊性製剤の使用[II]

Claims (46)
- 水生系において水面生息光合成微生物ブルームを抑制する方法であって、
a.少なくとも1種の光合成微生物阻害剤と、浮遊剤とを含む浮遊性組成物を生成することと;
b.前記水生系において一定期間内に前記光合成微生物の少なくとも50%の減少を誘発する条件下で、前記浮遊性組成物を前記水生系の表面に使用することであって、前記少なくとも1種の光合成微生物阻害剤が、前記期間後に前記水生系において飲料水で許容される濃度未満の濃度であり、および前記少なくとも1種の光合成微生物阻害剤が前記水生系から実質的に分解するよう適合されており、その結果前記期間後に、その活性状態で検出され得ないことを特徴とする、使用することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記少なくとも1種の光合成微生物阻害剤が酸化性水消毒剤を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水消毒剤が塩素放出剤、臭素放出剤、過酸化物系化合物、銅塩、アルミニウム塩、およびそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記塩素放出剤が次亜塩素酸カルシウムおよびジクロロイソシアヌル酸ナトリウム(NaDCC)から選択される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記浮遊剤がセルロース誘導体、植物バイオマス、飽和炭化水素、樹脂状物質、フォーム、ワックスおよび天然ラテックスまたは合成ラテックスからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記浮遊剤が木粉である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記浮遊剤がパラフィンである、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記浮遊剤がロジンである、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記浮遊剤が押出ポリスチレンフォームまたは発泡ポリスチレンフォームである、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記浮遊剤がシリコーンフォームである、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記光合成微生物阻害剤の濃度が、前記組成物の約10重量%、もしくは約20重量%、もしくは約30重量%、もしくは約40重量%、もしくは約50重量%、もしくはそれを超える、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が粒子、顆粒、フレーク、粉末、ペレット、丸剤、溶液またはその組み合わせの形態である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の光合成微生物がシアノバクテリア、藻類、プラクトンおよびその組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記使用のステップが前記水生系における前記ブルームの検出に続く、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記使用のステップが季節的ブルーム中に行われる、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記期間が3時間である、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記期間が少なくとも3日間であり、前記少なくとも50%の減少が少なくとも99%の減少である、請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記光合成微生物がシアノバクテリアであり、前記組成物が前記阻害剤の約0.005g/m2と約50g/m2の間の濃度、または約0.5ppmと約50ppmの間の濃度で使用される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記使用のステップが数時間間隔後に繰り返される、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記使用のステップの結果、各使用から0.5時間後、1時間後、2時間後、3時間後、24時間後またはそれよりも後に水中で測定した場合に前記阻害剤が微量となる、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 活性化合物の前記微量とは、各使用から24時間またはそれよりも後に測定した場合に3ppm以下である、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記処理ステップが1日3回、1日2回もしくは1日1回、または週1回、または2週間に1回、または3週間に1回、または1ヵ月に1回行われるか、またはそれよりも長い間隔で行われる、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記使用のステップが、1日間、2日間、3日間、4日間、5日間またはそれ以上の期間、1日1回または1日2回行われる、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 第2の阻害剤を前記水面に使用することをさらに含む、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記使用のステップが手動散布器もしくは機械的散布器によって、またはボートもしくは飛行機から液剤もしくはフォームを拡散することによって行われる、請求項1の記載の方法。
- 水生系において水面生息光合成微生物のブルームを抑制するのに用いる拡散性浮遊性組成物であって、
光合成微生物阻害剤と、浮遊剤とを含み、前記ブルームを酸化するために、前記組成物が前記水面に前記阻害剤を徐々に放出するよう適合されており、および前記少なくとも1種の光合成微生物阻害剤が、前記期間後に前記水生系において、飲料水で許容される濃度未満の濃度であることを特徴とする組成物。 - 前記光合成微生物阻害剤が酸化性水消毒剤である、請求項26に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1種の水消毒剤が塩素放出剤、臭素放出剤、過酸化物系化合物、銅塩、アルミニウム塩、およびそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項27に記載の組成物。
- 前記水消毒剤が次亜塩素酸カルシウムまたはNaDCCである、請求項28に記載の組成物。
- 前記浮遊剤がセルロース誘導体、植物バイオマス、飽和炭化水素、樹脂状物質、フォーム、ワックスおよび天然ラテックスまたは合成ラテックスからなる群から選択される、請求項27~29のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記浮遊剤が木粉である、請求項30に記載の組成物。
- 前記浮遊剤がパラフィンである、請求項30に記載の組成物。
- 前記浮遊剤がロジンである、請求項30に記載の組成物。
- 前記浮遊剤が押出ポリスチレンフォームまたは発泡ポリスチレンフォームである、請求項30に記載の組成物。
- 前記浮遊剤がシリコーンフォームである、請求項30に記載の組成物。
- 前記浮遊剤がワックスである、請求項30に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が粒子、顆粒、フレーク、粉末、ペレット、丸剤、または溶液の形態である、請求項26〜36のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記光合成有害生物の増殖がシアノバクテリア増殖、藻類増殖、微生物増殖、およびプランクトン増殖からなる群から選択される、請求項26〜37のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が前記水生系における有害なブルームの検出に続く投与に好適である、請求項26〜38のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記有害生物がシアノバクテリアであり、および前記少なくとも1種の水消毒剤が活性薬剤の約0.005g/m2と約50g/m2の間の濃度、または約0.5ppmと約50ppmの間の濃度で投与される、請求項28に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1種の水消毒剤の量が全組成物の約10重量%、もしくは約20重量%、もしくは約30重量%、もしくは約40重量%、もしくは約50重量%、もしくはそれを超える、請求項28〜37のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記水生系への前記組成物の投与の結果、各処理から0.5時間後、1時間後、2時間後、3時間後、24時間後またはそれよりも後に水中で測定した場合に活性化合物が微量となる、請求項41に記載の組成物。
- 活性化合物の前記微量とは、各処理から24時間後またはそれよりも後に測定した場合に3ppmを超えない、請求項42に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が前記水生系への1回、2回またはそれよりも多くの投与に適合されている、請求項26に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が1日3回、1日2回もしくは1日1回、または週1回、または2週間に1回、または3週間に1回、または1ヵ月に1回投与される投与、またはそれよりも長い間隔で投与される投与、に好適である、請求項43に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が1日間、2日間、3日間、4日間、5日間またはそれを超える期間、1日1回または1日2回投与される投与に適合されている、請求項43に記載の組成物。
