Description
Claims (15)
- 対象者に薬物を運ぶように構成されるシステムであって:
呼吸可能なガスと薬物とを、対象者の気道に運ぶために混合するように構成される呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスであって、前記対象者による呼吸作用に応じて開くように構成されるバルブを含む、呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイス;
放出される少なくともいくらかの超音波エネルギが前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスに入るように、超音波エネルギを放出するように構成される超音波エネルギ源;
前記超音波エネルギ源により放出される超音波エネルギの1つ以上の特性に関連する情報を運ぶ出力信号を生成するように構成されるセンサ;
コンピュータプログラムモジュールを実行するように構成される1つ以上のプロセッサ;
を有し、前記コンピュータプログラムモジュールは:
放出された超音波エネルギのエネルギ振幅を示す第1パラメータを、生成された出力信号に基づいて判定するように構成されるパラメータ判定モジュール;及び
前記第1パラメータの1つ以上の変化に基づいて前記バルブを介する1つ上のフロー変化を検出するように構成されるフローモジュールであって、前記1つ以上のフロー変化は、前記対象者による呼吸作用に応答する、フローモジュール;
を有するシステム。 - 前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスはメータードーズ吸入器(MDI)であり、前記パラメータ判定モジュールは、前記フローモジュールにより検出される1つ以上のフロー変化に基づいて1つ以上の呼吸パラメータを判定するように更に構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスはバルブ保持チャンバを含み、前記超音波エネルギ源は、放出される少なくともいくらかの超音波エネルギが前記バルブ保持チャンバに入るように、超音波エネルギを放出するように構成される、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスはピエゾ素子を含み、前記ピエゾ素子は前記超音波エネルギ源であり、前記バルブは吸入バルブであり、前記パラメータ判定モジュールは、前記対象者が前記吸入バルブを介して吸入しているか否かを判定するように更に構成され;
コンピュータプログラムモジュールは:
前記対象者が前記吸入バルブを介して吸入している旨の判断に応じた前記ピエゾ素子の調整により、動作中に、前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスを制御するように構成される制御モジュールを更に有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記パラメータ判定モジュールは、前記フローモジュールにより検出される1つ以上のフロー変化に基づいて、患者忠実度を判定するように更に構成される、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 対象者に薬物を運ぶ方法であって:
呼吸可能なガスと薬物とを、対象者の気道に運ぶために、呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスにより混合するステップであって、前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスは、前記対象者による呼吸作用に応じて開くバルブを含む、ステップ;
放出される少なくともいくらかの超音波エネルギが前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスに入るように、超音波エネルギを、超音波エネルギ源により放出するステップ;
前記超音波エネルギ源により放出される超音波エネルギの1つ以上の特性に関連する情報を運ぶ出力信号を、センサにより生成するステップ;
放出された超音波エネルギのエネルギ振幅を示す第1パラメータを、生成された出力信号に基づいて判定するステップ;
前記第1パラメータの1つ以上の変化に基づいて前記バルブを介する1つ上のフロー変化を検出するステップであって、前記1つ以上のフロー変化は、前記対象者による呼吸作用に応答する、ステップ;
を有する方法。 - 前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスはメータードーズ吸入器(MDI)であり、当該方法は、検出される1つ以上のフロー変化に基づいて1つ以上の呼吸パラメータを判定するステップを更に含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスはバルブ保持チャンバを含み、超音波エネルギを放出することは、放出される少なくともいくらかの超音波エネルギが前記バルブ保持チャンバに入るように行われる、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスはピエゾ素子を含み、前記ピエゾ素子は前記超音波エネルギ源であり、前記バルブは吸入バルブであり、1つ以上のフロー変化を検出することは、前記対象者が前記吸入バルブを介して吸入しているか否かを判定することを含み、
当該方法は:
前記ピエゾ素子の調整により、動作中に、前記呼吸薬物デリバリーデバイスを制御するステップを更に含み、前記の調整は、前記対象者が前記吸入バルブを介して吸入している旨の判断に応じている、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 検出された1つ以上のフロー変化に基づいて、患者忠実度を判定するステップを更に含む請求項9に記載の方法。
- 対象者に薬物を運ぶように構成されるシステムであって:
呼吸可能なガスと薬物とを、対象者の気道に運ぶために混合する手段であって、前記対象者による呼吸作用に応じて開くバルブを含む、手段;
放出される少なくともいくらかの超音波エネルギが前記混合する手段に入るように、超音波エネルギを放出する手段;
放出される超音波エネルギの1つ以上の特性に関連する情報を運ぶ出力信号を生成する手段;
放出された超音波エネルギのエネルギ振幅を示す第1パラメータを、生成された出力信号に基づいて判定する手段;及び
前記第1パラメータの1つ以上の変化に基づいて前記バルブを介する1つ上のフロー変化を検出する手段であって、前記1つ以上のフロー変化は、前記対象者による呼吸作用に応答する、手段;
を有するシステム。 - 検出される1つ以上のフロー変化に基づいて1つ以上の呼吸パラメータを判定する手段を更に有する請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記混合する手段はバルブ保持チャンバを含み、前記超音波エネルギを放出する手段は、放出される少なくともいくらかの超音波エネルギが前記バルブ保持チャンバに入るように構成される、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記混合する手段はピエゾ素子を含み、前記ピエゾ素子は超音波エネルギを放出する手段であり、前記バルブは吸入バルブであり、前記検出する手段は、前記対象者が前記吸入バルブを介して吸入しているか否かを判定するように更に構成され;
当該システムは:
前記ピエゾ素子の調整により、動作中に、前記混合する手段を制御する手段を更に有し、前記制御する手段は、前記調整が、前記対象者が前記吸入バルブを介して吸入している旨の判断に応じるように構成される、請求項11に記載のシステム。 - 検出される1つ以上のフロー変化に基づいて、患者忠実度を判定する手段を更に有する請求項14に記載のシステム。
