Claims (20)
- コネクタであって、
絶縁性の筐体と、
該筐体によって離間された状態で支持された複数の第1および第2の導電性の端子であって、各端子が、その第1の端部に配設された接触部と、前記第1の端部と反対側のその第2の端部に配設された尾部とを含み、各端子が、それぞれ別個の第1および第2の構成を有し、各接触部が、前記筐体の嵌合端部に沿って配設され、各尾部が、前記筐体の終端端部に沿って配設される、複数の第1および第2の導電性の端子と、
ケーブルであって、複数のワイヤと、一対のワイヤを囲繞する複数の導電性のシースと、接地クランプとを収容し、該接地クランプが、導電性材料から形成された2つの対向する半片を含み、該2つの対向する半片が、それらの間に複数の軸方向に配向された通路を協働的に画定し、かつ該通路を通って軸方向に延在し、各通路が、前記半片が前記シースと電気接触し、かつ隣接するワイヤを互いに離間するように、一対のワイヤおよび関連した導電性のシースを受容する、ケーブルと、を備える、コネクタ。 - 前記2つの対向する半片が互いの鏡像である、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 各半片が少なくとも1つの頂部および1つの谷部を含み、前記頂部および谷部がそれぞれ互いに対向する、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 各半片が追加の頂部および谷部を含む、請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記半片の対向する頂部が、それらの間に軸方向の通路を協働的に画定し、各軸方向の通路が、その中にワイヤシースを受容するように構成される、請求項4に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記半片がその対向する谷部で互いに取り付けられる、請求項4に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記半片が、前記接地クランプを前記尾部に取り付けるために、前記接地クランプの接触部を協働的に画定する、請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記半片の対向する谷部が、予め選択された間隔で隣接するワイヤシースを互いに離間するスペーサを画定する、請求項4に記載のコネクタ。
- 隣接する第1の端子の尾部が、それらの間に介在する空間を画定するように互いに離間し、前記半片の頂部が、前記介在する空間内に配設される、請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記接地クランプが前記尾部の後方の前記筐体内に配設される、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記筐体が前記接地クランプ上に成型された絶縁性材料を有する部分を含む、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記接地クランプが予め選択された間隔で単一体として複数のワイヤをともに保持する、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第1の端子の尾部が前記接地クランプの谷部の対応する幅以下の幅を有する、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第1の端子の尾部が前記接地クランプの後方縁部を超えて延在しない、請求項10に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第1の端子尾部の幅が前記第2の端子尾部よりも広い、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第1の端子尾部が前記第2の端子尾部よりも長い長さを有する、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- ケーブルコネクタアセンブリであって、
絶縁性のコネクタ筐体と、
前記筐体によって支持された複数の導電性の端子であって、各端子が、隣接する接地端子が一対の介在する信号端子によって互いに分離されるように配置された接地および信号端子を含み、該接地および信号端子が、前記筐体の終端端部に沿って配設され、前記接地端子の尾部が、前記信号端子の尾部よりも長く、予め選択された間隔で分離される、複数の導電性の端子と、
複数のワイヤを囲繞するケーブルであって、各ワイヤが専用の対で配置され、各専用の対のワイヤが導電性のスリーブに囲繞され、該スリーブが前記ケーブルの終端端部で終端し、前記ワイヤが前記ケーブルの終端端部を越えて延在する導体の自由端を有する、ケーブルと、
導電性のクランプ部材であって、該クランプ部材を通って軸方向に延在する複数の軸方向に配向された通路を含み、各通路が、その中にワイヤの専用の対および関連した導電性スリーブを受容し、前記クランプ部材が、隣接する通路の間に配設された複数の平面部をさらに含む、導電性のクランプ部材と、を備え、
それにより前記クランプ部材が、前記導電性のスリーブと電気接触し、隣接するワイヤ対を互いに離間し、前記平面部が、前記接地端子の尾部に接触する、ケーブルコネクタアセンブリ。 - 前記クランプ部材が2つの半片をさらに含み、各半片が頂部および谷部を含む、請求項17に記載のケーブルコネクタアセンブリ。
- 各半片の前記頂部が前記通路を協働的に画定し、前記谷部が前記平面部を協働的に画定する、請求項18に記載のケーブルコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記接地端子の尾部が前記クランプ部材の谷部間の間隔と等しい間隔で離間される、請求項17に記載のケーブルコネクタアセンブリ。
