Claims (20)
- 上部偏光子と、
下部偏光子と、
液晶層と、
前記上部偏光子と前記液晶層の間に挟入された第1のガラス層と、
前記下部偏光子と前記液晶層の間に挟入された第2のガラス層と、
前記上部偏光子と下部偏光子の間に配置された第3のガラス層と、
を備えることを特徴とする、ディスプレイ。 - 前記第1のガラス層はカラーフィルタ層を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記第2のガラス層は薄膜トランジスタ層を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記第3のガラス層は前記薄膜トランジスタ層に取り付けられていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記薄膜トランジスタ層に取り付けられている第4のガラス層を更に備え、前記第3のガラス層は前記カラーフィルタ層に取り付けられていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記上部偏光子と下部偏光子の間に配置された第4のガラス層を更に備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記第3のガラス層は負の光弾性定数を有し、前記負の光弾性定数は−3.0ブリュースター未満の値を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。
- 上部偏光子と、
下部偏光子と、
液晶層と、
前記上部偏光子と前記液晶層の間に挟入された第1のガラス層と、
前記下部偏光子と前記液晶層の間に挟入された第2のガラス層と、
前記上部偏光子と前記第1のガラス層の間に挟入された第1のポリマー層と、
前記下部偏光子と前記第2のガラス層の間に挟入された第2のポリマー層と、
を備えることを特徴とする、ディスプレイ。 - 前記第1のポリマー層はポリスチレン、ポリスルホン及びポリメチルメタクリレートからなる群から選択されるポリマー材料を含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記第1及び第2のポリマー層は各々負の光弾性定数を有することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記第1及び第2のガラス層は各々正の光弾性定数を有することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記第1及び第2のポリマー層の各々の前記負の光弾性定数は−10ブリュースター未満であり、前記第1及び第2のポリマー層は各々30GPa未満のヤング率を有することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記第1のガラス層はカラーフィルタ層を含み、前記第1のポリマー層を前記カラーフィルタ層上に形成することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のディスプレイ。
- 第1の偏光子と、
第2の偏光子と、
液晶層と、
前記第1の偏光子と前記液晶層の間に挟入された第1の透明層と、
前記第2の偏光子と前記液晶層の間に挟入された第2の透明層と、
前記第1及び第2の透明層における応力誘発性複屈折を補償するように構成される、前記第2の透明層と前記第2の偏光子の間に配置された複屈折補償層と、
を備えることを特徴とする、ディスプレイ。 - 前記第1の透明層はガラスカラーフィルタ層を含み、前記第2の透明層はガラス薄膜トランジスタ層を含むことを特徴とする、請求項14に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記複屈折補償層はガラスを含むことを特徴とする、請求項15に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記複屈折補償層を前記ガラス薄膜トランジスタ層に取り付ける接着剤材料を更に備え、前記接着剤材料は前記複屈折補償層と前記ガラス薄膜トランジスタ層の間で矩形環状の接着剤を形成することを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記ガラス薄膜トランジスタ層に前記複屈折補償層を取り付ける光学的に透明な接着剤の層を更に備えることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記複屈折補償層はポリマー材料を含むことを特徴とする、請求項15に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記第1の透明層と前記第1の偏光子の間に配置された付加的な複屈折補償層を更に備えることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載のディスプレイ。
