Abstract
Description
本出願は、2012年4月10日出願の、譲受人に譲渡された、同時係属出願の米国特許出願第13/443,347号の一部継続出願であり、この特許は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明が関連する技術分野は、移植可能な外科用組織修復パッチに関し、より詳細には、ヘルニア修復手技に使用される移植可能な外科用メッシュヘルニアパッチに関する。
腹壁又は切開ヘルニアを有する患者を、以下の方法での開放ヘルニア修復手技のために準備する。ヘルニアを包囲する皮膚範囲を、ベタジンなどの従来の抗菌溶液で洗浄する。患者には、導入及び吸入による通常の方式で、通常の全身麻酔が投与される。次いで、外科医は、ヘルニアの上に存在する皮膚及び皮下組織内に切開部を作製することにより、外科手技を開始する。腹腔内へのメッシュ設置が予定されている場合、ヘルニア嚢が切開される。欠損の周りの正常な筋膜の縁を調べ、腹壁への臓器の癒着を全て分離して、メッシュ定着のために空間の空きを作り出す。

- 前記癒着バリア外周は、前記基部部材の外周縁を越えて延び、半径方向に延びるフランジを形成する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記フランジは、前記基部部材の周辺縁の上に折り重ねられ、前記基部部材の頂面上で前記基部部材の外周に装着される、請求項32に記載の装置。
- 前記フランジは、前記基部部材の周辺縁の下に折り重ねられ、前記基部部材の底面上で前記基部部材の外周に装着される、請求項32に記載の装置。
- 前記癒着バリアは、周辺縁が同一の広がりとなるように前記基部部材に装着される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記癒着バリア部材は、前記基部部材の周辺縁を少なくとも一部分覆うように前記基部部材の外周に装着される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ポケットは外周を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
