Claims (6)
- 金属廃棄物を低消費エネルギーおよび高い安全レベルで溶融するための誘導炉であって、フィールドコイル(10)と、電気絶縁層により隔離された複数のセクタ(8)に分割された円形状の金属筐体(7)であって、前記フィールドコイルがその周囲に配置されるとともに冷却媒体ダクト(21)が設けられた金属筐体と、前記筐体の下に延在した敷板(11)とを備えた誘導炉であって、前記誘導炉は、前記筐体(7)の内部に配置され円形壁部と底部とを有する、るつぼ(1)を備え、前記るつぼは、
−前記敷板(11)上に配置され、
−前記筐体(7)によりその周囲を覆われ、
−隙間によって前記筐体から離隔され、
−その外周が連続的かつ均一であって、
−内部耐熱層(4)、圧縮性材料からなる中間層(5)、および外部金属層(6)を含む3つの同心円層から構成されていることを特徴とする、誘導炉。 - 前記内部層は、セラミック、例えば炭化ケイ素系セラミックにより形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の誘導炉。
- 前記中間層は、熱絶縁層から形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の誘導炉。
- 前記中間層は、繊維構造を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の誘導炉。
- 前記セクタ(8)は、当該セクタを構成する材料に誘導される電流の侵入長Pの半分よりも小さい相当直径(D)を有していることを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の誘導炉。
- 格納される金属廃棄物の処理方法であって、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の誘導炉が用いられ、前記廃棄物が前記るつぼ(1)に流入され、前記フィールドコイル(10)が前記廃棄物の溶融を開始する処理方法であって、前記廃棄物は前記るつぼ内で固化されるまで維持され、前記るつぼ(1)は前記廃棄物とともに取り除かれて格納容器に収容されることを特徴とする、処理方法。
