Description
駆動トレイン周波数を持つ駆動トレインと、
励起光を放射する光源と、
歯垢特定信号を生成するために歯からの戻り光ビームを受光する歯垢検出器と、を含み、歯垢特定信号は、駆動トレイン周波数と中間周波数とが同一のマスタクロックから導出されるような中間周波数に復調される、歯科器具が提供される。
励起光を提供するステップと、
歯からの戻り光ビームを受光するステップと、
戻り光ビームから歯垢特定信号を生成するステップと、
歯垢特定信号を、駆動トレイン周波数と中間周波数とが同一のマスタクロックから導出されるような中間周波数に復調するステップと、
を含む、方法に関する。
Claims (15)
- 駆動トレイン周波数を持つ駆動トレインと、
励起光を放射する光源と、
歯垢特定信号を生成するために歯からの戻り光ビームを受光する歯垢検出器と、
を含み、
前記歯垢特定信号は、前記駆動トレイン周波数と中間周波数とが同一のマスタクロックから導出されるような当該中間周波数に復調される、
歯科器具。 - 前記光源を変調するための発振器を更に含む、請求項1に記載の歯科器具又は請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記戻り光ビームは蛍光である、請求項1に記載の歯科器具又は請求項11に記載の方法。
- 反射された励起光を除去し、歯からの蛍光ビームを受光するための少なくとも1つの光学ユニットを更に含み、
前記歯垢検出器は、周波数駆動トレインによって生成されるノイズを低減させる歯垢検出回路を介して、周波数領域寿命測定に基づいて歯垢を検出し、歯の歯垢特定信号を通信するために前記蛍光ビームを受光する、
請求項3に記載の歯科器具又は方法。 - 前記中間周波数は、前記駆動トレイン周波数の(n+j/k)倍に等しく、ここでnは整数であり、jは正の整数であり、kは0<j<kとなるような偶数の正の整数である、請求項1に記載の歯科器具。
- kは、前記歯垢特定信号の帯域幅が、前記駆動トレイン周波数の1/k倍よりも小さくなるように選択される、請求項5に記載の歯科器具。
- 復調された前記中間周波数の信号は、当該中間周波数の信号の周波数の少なくとも2倍の整数倍の周波数でデジタル化される、請求項1に記載の歯科器具。
- 前記駆動トレイン周波数は、複数の清掃モードに基づいて変化される、請求項1に記載の歯科器具。
- コントローラが、前記励起光を生成するために用いられる発振器を駆動させ、前記コントローラのマスタクロックは、周波数復調のために用いられる前記マスタクロックと整数比である、請求項1に記載の歯科器具又は請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記中間周波数への復調は、前記歯垢特定信号との高調波干渉を防止する、請求項1に記載の歯科器具又は請求項11に記載の方法。
- 駆動トレイン周波数を持つ駆動トレインを有する歯科器具を介して歯の歯垢を検出する方法であって、
励起光を提供するステップと、
歯からの戻り光ビームを受光するステップと、
前記戻り光ビームから歯垢特定信号を生成するステップと、
前記歯垢特定信号を、前記駆動トレイン周波数と中間周波数とが同一のマスタクロックから導出されるような当該中間周波数に復調するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記中間周波数は、前記駆動トレイン周波数の(n+j/k)倍に等しく、ここでnは整数であり、jは正の整数であり、kは0<j<kとなるような偶数の正の整数である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- kは、前記歯垢特定信号の帯域幅が、前記駆動トレイン周波数の1/k倍よりも小さくなるように選択される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 復調された前記中間周波数の信号は、当該中間周波数の信号の周波数の少なくとも2倍の整数倍の周波数でデジタル化されるステップを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記駆動トレイン周波数を、複数の清掃モードに基づいて変化させるステップを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
