Claims (9)
- メイン回路上に形成された第1、第2端子に接続され、前記メイン回路に過電流が印加される場合に溶断されるヒュージブルエレメントと、
前記ヒュージブルエレメントと接続される抵抗端子に接続される抵抗素子と、
基準電圧を外れる電圧が印加される場合には、前記抵抗端子に電流が流れるように制御するスイッチング素子とを含み、
前記第1、第2端子及び抵抗端子は、互いに同一平面上で離隔して並設され、
前記ヒュージブルエレメントは、基準電圧を外れる電圧が印加される場合に前記抵抗素子から発生する熱によって溶断され、
前記抵抗素子は、前記ヒュージブルエレメントを基準として両側に2つが並列に接続される第1、第2抵抗素子からなる、
ことを特徴とする異常状態の電流及び電圧を遮断する複合保護素子。 - 前記第1、第2抵抗素子は、同一の抵抗値を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異常状態の電流及び電圧を遮断する複合保護素子。 - 前記第1、第2抵抗素子は、互いに異なる抵抗値を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異常状態の電流及び電圧を遮断する複合保護素子。 - 前記第1、第2抵抗素子は互いに同一又は異なる大きさに形成して、前記保護回路の設計時の自由度を高める、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異常状態の電流及び電圧を遮断する複合保護素子。 - 前記第1、第2端子の間には、前記第1、第2抵抗素子と接続される第1、第2連結端子が位置し、
前記第1、第2連結端子の上面には、絶縁層及び導電層が順次積層され、前記導電層の上面には、それぞれの前記第1、第2抵抗素子及びヒュージブルエレメントが並設され、
前記ヒュージブルエレメントは、前記抵抗素子の輻射熱及び前記導電層を介した伝導熱によって溶断される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異常状態の電流及び電圧を遮断する複合保護素子。 - 前記導電層の一端部は第3端子と接続され、他端部は第4端子と接続が遮断されるように構成し、
前記スイッチング素子がターンオンされる場合、前記メイン回路で流れる電流は、前記ヒュージブルエレメント、導電層、第3端子を経て前記第1抵抗素子と第2抵抗素子とに分配され、前記第4端子で併合されて流れる、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の異常状態の電流及び電圧を遮断する複合保護素子。 - 前記抵抗素子は、セラミック素材からなるセラミック素体と、前記セラミック素体の両端に形成される端子部と、前記セラミック素体の外周面に形成される抵抗層とを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異常状態の電流及び電圧を遮断する複合保護素子。 - 前記スイッチング素子は、トランジスタと、基準電圧よりも低い電圧又は高い電圧が印加される場合に前記トランジスタをターンオン(Turn−on)させる制御信号を印加し、前記抵抗素子に電流が流れるように制御する制御部とを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異常状態の電流及び電圧を遮断する複合保護素子。 - 前記抵抗素子は、外面を取り囲む断熱カバーを備え、前記断熱カバーは、前記ヒュージブルエレメントの方向にのみ開放され、前記抵抗素子から発生する熱が前記ヒュージブルエレメントに集中する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異常状態の電流及び電圧を遮断する複合保護素子。
