Claims (14)
- 箱で輸送される少なくとも1つの品物を緩衝するエアクッションをエアクッション機械によって製造する方法であって、該方法は、
前記箱の容積および前記箱で輸送される前記少なくとも1つの品物の容積の差によって画定された空隙容積を決定するステップと、
エアクッション全体容積を有する量のエアクッションを前記エアクッション機械によって製造するステップであって、エアクッション全体容積は、前記空隙容積に等しい、ステップと、
を備える、方法。 - 前記空隙容積が器具によって測定される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記空隙容積が前記少なくとも1つの品物の既知の容積および前記箱の既知の容積に基づいて計算される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記量のエアクッションの各エアクッションが同じ容積である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記量のエアクッションの1つを除くすべてのエアクッションが同じ容積である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記空隙容積を表す信号を生成するステップと、
前記エアクッション機械に前記信号を供給するステップと、
前記信号によって前記エアクッション機械に、前記空隙容積に等しいエアクッション全体容積を有する前記量のエアクッションを製造させるステップと、
をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 箱で輸送される少なくとも1つの品物を緩衝するクッション材を製造する保護包装システムであって、
前記箱の容積および前記箱で輸送される前記少なくとも1つの品物の容積の差によって画定された空隙容積を決定する手段と、
エアクッション全体容積を有する量のエアクッションを製造するために、前記空隙容積に応じて制御可能なエアクッション機械であって、エアクッション全体容積は、前記空隙容積に等しい、エアクッション機械と、
を備える、保護包装システム。 - 空隙容積を決定する前記手段から前記空隙容積を表す信号を受信し、かつ前記エアクッション全体容積を有する前記量のエアクッションを製造するよう前記エアクッション機械に命令する信号を前記エアクッション機械に送るコントローラをさらに備える、請求項7に記載の保護包装システム。
- 前記空隙容積を決定する前記手段が測定器具である、請求項7に記載の保護包装システム。
- 前記空隙容積を決定する前記手段が箱の容積および品物の容積のデータベースと、箱の容積から品物の容積を減じるプロセッサとである、請求項7に記載の保護包装システム。
- 前記エアクッション機械が、プラスチックフィルム供給部と、前記機械を通るフィルムを引っ張る引張アセンブリと、前記フィルムの層の間に空気を注入する空気注入アセンブリと、前記フィルムの前記層をシールする長手方向シールアセンブリと、を含み、コントローラが前記引張アセンブリ、前記空気注入アセンブリ、および前記長手方向シールアセンブリに信号を送り、前記エアクッション全体容積を有する前記量のエアクッションを製造するよう前記エアクッション機械に命令する、請求項7に記載の保護包装システム。
- 前記プラスチックフィルム供給部が、プラスチックシートに形成され、かつ前記シートの長手方向に沿って離間した一連の横方向ヒートシールと、前記シートの前記長手方向に沿って離間した一連の横方向穿孔ラインとを有する細長い連続的なチューブ状シートを備える、請求項11に記載の保護包装システム。
- 前記エアクッション機械が、前のエアクッションまたは1列のエアクッションを後のエアクッションから分離する分離アセンブリをさらに含み、コントローラは、前記分離アセンブリに信号を送り、前記前のエアクッションまたは1列のエアクッションを前記後のエアクッションから分離するよう前記分離アセンブリに命令する、請求項7に記載の保護包装システム。
- 前記コントローラが前記空気注入アセンブリの出力圧力を変える、請求項11に記載の保護包装システム。
